Pryba was good at explaining information and answering questions that I had. That's was about the only good thing with visiting him.His office would often withhold vital lab results as blackmail for me coming in for more frequent appointments. I got the labs done (for free) at my workplace's wellness center. This was the last straw for me when I had to call 6 times to get a lab result after constant stonewalling. Nearly every visit he ordered a electrocardiograph for me (a $600 procedure by the way) even though I have no heart issues and am 32 y/o.He once told me a symptom I was feeling "was in my head" without even batting an eye (later to be actually confirmed though another doctor). All in all, avoid this doctor with at all costs, he will try to push you to expensive treatments, drugs, and unnessesary appointments all in the cause of lining his pockets. Very unknowledgeable. He always gives worst case scenario and sends you for unnecessary tests just to prove a point. Completely misdiagnoses and thinks he's god. Think he gets kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies - staff even thinks that.

I changed doctors after my friends recommneded this doctor. It was the best move I made. He listened to me and then did a full physical - includes heart, lungs, and prostae. We spent nearly 45 minutes in discussion of my issues and medical problems. I now understand why I am taking what I am taking. I wish I would of met him years ago - though and complete as well as looking for the newest advances to forward my health and life. I just wish he had evening hours as his 8 - 4:30 schedule does not work for a working person. He stresses exercise and life style choices as well as the medications he gave me to ensure my health. Preventive is a key for me and he practices this.

I saw this doctor as a new patinet and he picked up one the many issues I had right away. I am admitedly a complex patinet and he clearly wanted to know what had been done previously and past lab vlaues to adjust current therapy. As a patient who has spent much time in phsyciancs offices, he is the first that took the time to get to know me and "called an ACE an ACE". I thought he was complete and his hand outs definitely helped me understand my disease condition. I am glad I have picked him and my numbers weather it be Blood pressure, diabtes, or cholesterol are the best they have been in 5 years

Dr. Pryba is rude and creepy. I and 2 other family members/friends were going to him interestingly enough he prescribed all the same meds for 3 of us. We were all told we had vitamin d deficiencies, were borderline diabetics and all were issued cholesterol meds even though all three of us were under 200. After moving to a more experienced and caring doctor, the only meds I take are multi-vitamins, no cholesterol meds or anything else and I feel the best I've felt in a long time. He's sneaky and I think he gets kickbacks from the drug companies.

I have been going to Dr. Pryba for years as well as many members of my family. I work in the healthcare/pharmaceutical arena so I see & meet many doctors..most of which I would never want to be a patient of. Personally I would rate Dr. Pryba top notch. I am young & don't get sick often, but when I do see him he is always thorough which I would imagine is why I wait sometimes. He takes the time needed to answer questions & give proper care, which in today's healthcare system is rare. He is VERY candid & answers questions VERY honestly which I think is refreshing, not many doctors tell it like it is & how patients sometimes need to hear it. Many docs sugar coat things which is unecessary & can be harmful. He is knowledgable & up to date on info. As far as prescribing drugs...I have never had a problem with what he prescribes. There are not always generic equivalents to every drug & brands have a higher co-pay sometimes. He prescribes what he feels is necessary as a doc should.

Under the guise of "caring and compassionate care" Dr. Pryba spends time with patients. After seeing this Dr. for 5 years. His true colors gradually showed through. He orders so many tests and prescribes only the newest drugs which are horribly expensive. I find him to be an awful physician.

Had to change doctors given move - and found this doctor to be though and complete. actually gave me handouts on my condition so I could understand what was going on and why certain therapies or tests were needed (he lectures for the Medical College of Wisconsin as an assistant professor). Spent a great deal of time with me (but I think this gets him behind in his schedule). Great to see a doctor practice preventive care. My wife saw him as well and thought his approach to female issues was excellent - espeically in terms of bone health.

Dr. Pryba is the most knowledgable internist I have ever met. He is incredibly thorough and gives you research to support his therapies. Listens well and gives me his full consideration.

Dr. Pryba was hurtful and impatient with my special needs daughter. He reduced her to tears and nearly broke her spirt with his horrible attitude. Orders unnecessary tests and prescribes new drugs that his many pharmaceutical reps pay him with gifts of food which he puts in his car and takes home at night. Weird behavior for a doctor. Creepy at best.
