Prescribed a nose spray for infected ears, The spray did diddly squat. I went to Urgent care after a week and got Otic suspension drops, which healed my ears within 4 days.

This doctor is a locum doctor (travels to clinics and provides coverage). Smart, kind and compassionate. Provided care no one has provided to me.

I have never come across a better health care professional than Dr Gordon Malcolm. I was dismayed to hear that he had left the clinic I saw him at in Calgary. What separates Dr Malcolm from other Doctor’s is that he truly cares about his patients and their overall health and well-being. He is nothing short of exceptional and whatever clinic or hospital he ends up at next will not only be better for it but healthier for it as well.

Had him as a family physician, he left the clinic without explanation. I am disappointed that he would try to earn your trust and then abandon you as a patient. Very unprofessional, but maybe a blessing in disguise as he didn't seem to be interested in actually helping me. He spent more time talking about nothing than he gave answers for treatment options. Hopefully he went back to emergency medicine, looks like that is his specialty.

I understand that in emergency medicine, one can expect doctors to be somewhat rushed and busy. I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr Malcolm this evening and did not see any of that; he was excellent. He sat down with me and took time to talk about symptoms, causes, cures. He was very friendly and kind. I was very happy with my time at the Chumir. Thank you Dr Malcolm.

I had the opportunity to speak to Dr. Malcom at the Sheldon Chumir Urgent Care Center,(while waiting to be seen by one of the emerg Dr.) he'd seen my husband a few weeks earlier and we needed some information again as we had forgotten everything that he'd told us. He was getting ready to go off shift but took the time to review the information that he'd provided to us a few weeks earlier. He is just fantastic, wish he were taking patients as I'd be the first on his list.

Dr. Malcolm is the first Doctor I have seen in emergency care who really took the time to understand my costochondritis pain and limitations, took the necessary tests to rule out any cardiac events and made me feel so much better. His assurance and caring manner is rare in the medical profession, let alone from a Doctor. His sensitive bedside manner made me truly feel like he cared and didn't just blow me off like so many family doctors and emergency doctors are known to do. He gave me information, suggestions and assurance and I couldn't be happier to have been in his care.
