Dr. Ekwalanga delivered my twins. She was so kind and attentive to me throughout my time with her. She carefully explained everything she did and that was so kind. I also loved her front desk staff, she was very kind and spoke very well to me. My pregnancy was twins and I also had gestational diabetes. She managed me without a hitch and my delivery via caesarean was without any issues. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

This doctor CANNOT help you if you have endometriosis or if you have debilitating pain during periods. Her focus is totally on pregnancies. She prescribed Lupron, and I found out later after it that Lupron has class action lawsuits due to harm it has caused others. Not impressed.

I usually don't do these reviews but I feel like my perspective would actually be helpful in this case.
I identify as asexual and as such, I've always had issues finding appropriate doctors. We face a lot of discrimination and harassment from doctors under normal circumstances, and as previous experiences have shown me, these get worse the more reproductively-oriented the specialization.
I was extremely relieved to find Dr. Ekwalanga. Not only did she not mention the things I've gotten used to hearing (suggestions of hormone testing, trying to fix it, "training", etc) but she also asked if that meant I would be uncomfortable with standard check up procedures/offered ways around that if it were to be the case.

I can't recommend her highly enough for anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation and wants a doctor who is kind, understanding, and most importantly someone who doesn't discriminate based on your sexuality.

Dr Ekwalanga is extremely passionate and caring but when you book a appointment make sure you schedule a extra 3 hours cause her appointments are consistently behind also trying to book a appointment is a nightmare she only books 1 or 2 days a week and they always call and change them last minute

She delivered my girl in December amongst covid and it was a pleasure having her take care of us and delivering. She has amazing bedside manner, her receptionist is funny, I never had to wait long like some of the comments but she’s thorough so who cares. Lovely doctor !

If Dr Ekwalanga had been your teacher you would perhaps be an OBGYN today.
She is that unique combination of mother, teacher and doctor. My wife had a unique medical condition and we were referred to Dr Ekwalanga. She helped us navigate the situation and we now have a beautiful baby boy.

Dr. Ekwalanga is one of the best. You will feel so comfortable knowing you're in great hands with her. She listens to everything you have to say and never makes you feel silly for anything. She delivered my son who had a nice big head, before she did anything she asked me what method I wanted to use to help get him out. I've heard horror stories of Doctor's just doing things without asking, she NEVER did this. As soon as my son was born and on my chest, I asked her if she'd be my Doctor with my next one too. And sure enough, we are due in December and once again, she's amazing!
