Has bad bedside manners and on my first visit I was told I would need to deal with the pressure. I went in for my CT scan and some test that they take a camera inside your bladder. He was late for and had 2 other procedures after me. I went for my CT scan and than waited for him for the results. He told me there was no cancer but I had stones in my kidney. Than he told me he did have an answer for everything i just paid out 1k for that answer. He told me the sensation will go away give it time but only gave me some samples for 2 21/2 days to help relax my bladder. Was also told that if I was still having problems he will revisit it in 6 to 7 weeks. I felt like he rushed me and did not really have any compassion for me whats so ever.

Very rude. By the time I left his office I was in tears because of his attitude. His staff apologized to me for his behavior. Was there for 3.5 hours for this kind of behavior and money.
Will not go back.

He saved my life. Just over 11 years ago I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Prostate Cancer and it was a tricky process as my PSA was not the indicator. I only have 1 kidney so Radiation and Chemo were not viable options so we opted for a radical prostatectomy. He is a great doctor and man. If he hadn't been so caring, dedicated and attentive I would not be writing this today. I appreciate his tenacity very much. I now live in the Nashville area and if I needed an Urologist, I would drive to Memphis as much as I hate that drive. He is one fine Doctor and while he is a little nerdy at times :) (Aren’t we all) and has his little quirks, he is great man and great at what he has a passion for and that is caring for people. Thanks Mr. PL! from RR

Was assigned this doctor because my dr. was on vacation. Was hospitalized with a kidney stone. He phoned my room and was rude. Told me he would be doing a procedure and i'd have to have a cystoscopy (surgery) and I could not have lithotripsy. I asked if I could eat anything and his reply was "Not if you want me to do this procedure". He did the procedure and did not even get the kidney stone. (said it must have gone back up into my kidney, which it had not) Total waste. Was rude during the time I dealt with him. The next week my dr. returned and said there was no reason I couldn't have lithotripsy to take care of the stone (much easier - non invasive procedure). For some reason Latimer said I could not have the easier procedure. The stone was taken care of by my doc and I only had a failed surgery, alot of pain and a bill from Dr. Latimer.

In July 2010 I went to Dr. Larimer for incontinence problems. I had been to other doctors who only treated me for over active bladder. The pills did not help. I am so happy Dr. Larimer found the porblem, which was my uretha tube and not over active bladder. He put in a sling and I am amazed of the results. I was very pleased with him and all of his staff. I felt very comfortable with all of them. The only draw back was waiting time, but my results have made it worth the wait.

Very good communication with patient. Willing to explain what he is talking about in language patient can understand. Welcomes questions. Takes time to listen to patient and patient's concerns. Willing to adjust treatment if one doesn't work. Shows consideration for patient. Relates well to patient with limited understanding abilities.
