This experience is dated but Dr. Goedde “cared” for my mother and contributed in an negative way to my Mother’s treatment course. Through insensitive bedside manner (one egregious incident in particular) and poor surgical outcome including continued challenges with her port which caused issues throughout her treatment. She has passed greater than 10 years ago but I will never forget her saying that she will never forgive him for telling her she was going to die within 6 months after a worrisome scan. It caused emotional harm and impacted her treatment course for the rest of her life.

Never a bitter person, my Mother confided in a unforgiving disrespect for Dr. Goedde and his care. It stood with her through the balance of her life. I appreciate that he has helped many through his years, our family is not one of them.

I was referred to Dr. Goedde by my PCP after receiving the news that my mammo came back "suspicious". I had originally been referred to another dr for follow up by the Carmel St. Vincent Breast Care Center. I told my PCP who that dr was and he told me "don't go there". Dr. Goedde almost cost me my life by not informing me of a change in my mammogram for 13 months!! He made the decision NOT to tell me until the following mammogram showed it was still there and the Radiologist informed me that it was indeed there the 13 months before! I confronted Dr. Goedde and he ADMITTED that he had seen it and thought we could wait 6 months! He mad that CHOICE for ME, and there never was 6 months later, it was my next mammogram 13 months later!! I should have sued this person, but I had to focus on me and my CANCER! This person acted like he had my best interest in mind for 7 years and then hid this from me! I am young with a child and he gambled with my life! Do NOT buy into his con. Run and run fast!!

Dr. Goedde is a concerned, compassionate person who treats me like a person with a disease, and not like a disease, if that makes sense. I traveled a long way to receive his care, and I am so glad that I did. He answered every question and concern. He also was thorough enough to realize that I should be tested for a BRCA mutation, for which I was positive. He went above and beyond to schedule me with the team that will take care of everything related to BRCA--gynecologic oncology and plastic surgery as well as with his team. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Goedde to anyone!

Dr. Goedde has been my doctor for 18 years, he has treated my 3 sisters and my mother for breast cancer. He is absolutly the best and knows his business. He is very caring and compassionate.

Dr. Goedde is THE BEST! He is very straight forward & extremely thorough. I am 37 and I found a lump. 3 days later I had 2 sets of mammograms and an ultrasound of the area, they called Dr. Goedde to take a look, and I was in his office in about 30 min. By the time I got there, he had already looked at my scans. After examining me, he did a very extensive/thorough biopsy (he really didn't think it was anything, so he wanted to be sure if it came back negative, he had biopsies everything he could). The following afternoon he called me & told me that my biopsy was cancerous. Two business days late I had a MRI. That night he called me at 7pm to tell me that my tumor was significant & I would need a mastectomy. It was only 16 days from my 1st mammogram to my double mastectomy. Dr. Goedde and his staff took care of EVERYTHING, I never had to make a call or schedule ANYTHING. Dr. Goedde always takes the time to answer anything, as if I was his only patient. I have & will highly recommend him!

I was sent to Dr. Goedde by my family physician after a finding of calcifications in my mammogram. Dr. Goedde performed a stereotactic biopsy and luckily the findings were negative. Dr. Goedde was very kind and communicated in a very clear and conscise way. He was very willing to answer my questions and he and his nurse put me at ease during the biopsy. Dr. Geodde is a very compassionate doctor who I have enjoyed having him as my oncologist... he was very helpful in explaining what my needs were going to be... He spoke with a very professional,yet laymen's terms that I could follow along with. His staff were also very helpful in explaining what may happen to me in the future, every procedure was explained in detail.....I felt very comfortable with dealing with Dr. Geodde, I would recommend him to any woman with breast cancer or concerns about breast cancer.....
