Great doctor I was well taken care of by him an the team at the Mazankowski. I was taken ill on a weekend an had a temporary pacemaker to maintain my heart function. On Monday Dr. Hyènes in discussion with the surgeon was able to get them to put permanent pacemaker in place.so from Saturday pm an Tuesday pm I went home. Impress to say the least.

I had an appointment for testing and treating of tachycardia, which I had been diagnosed with years prior. I was given a month-long harness to wear to track it. Because it didnt capture anything over those few weeks, he had the gall to tell me that it was all in my head and try make me feel like an absolute fool. The nurse afterwards apologized for his behavior. Horribly rude and judgemental.

I had an appointment with him and his resident today re: chest pain and high blood pressure. He is refusing to send me for tests or treat me any further because I'm fat. My husband and I sat there for the better part of an hour and I was fat shamed the entire time. Then when he was through with fat shaming he, he turned to my husband and started fat shaming him—and it wasn't even his appointment! This man hates fat people. If you are fat, find someone else. His staff were very friendly. The appointment began nearly 20 minutes late.

Dr Gyenes was a saint. I sent an ECG reading from my Apple Watch for a very extraordinary event I had, that I originally thought was AFIB, as this was what I had been diagnosed with a few years before.
Dr. Gyenes told me to immediately go to the ER. Good thing ! as it was in fact Ventricular Tachychardia and it needed immediate attention. Thank you Dr.

Dr. Gyenes performed my radial angiogram and I have no soreness, other than a bit where the artery was punctured but has healed now. He did the procedure with an explanation of what he was doing and had a very professional and kind manner. I am glad it was he who did the angiogram procedure.

It was a pleasure to see Dr. Gyenes. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and an excellent cardiologist overall. Excellent bedside manners. Thank goodness for doctors like him. I feel blessed to have seen him.

Dr. Gyenes is one of the most amazing people I've ever dealt. He explains everything clearly and gives you the time you need to absorb it. The staff were also great and he was very punctual.
