This surgon isn't there to be a friendly next door person,he's there to do his profession,only because of this doctor and doctor's like him that I'm walking today,theses surgons have alot on their mind and don't horse around with their patients. We are so lucky to have them,God bless them all on their good jobs.JMO

No personallity, . Very little explanation of how tight to wrap bandages or any conversation other than to hurry up and take off your pants. Sorry I slowed him down. He may do hundreds a year but this is my first such surgery and it should have been a better experience.

After reading a law case I discovered Dr.MacKean is not liked by others..and for valid reasons. Can you imagine losing a leg just becuse you had a blister and were improperly treated like the woman who is suing him (Keep fighting CB!) I had pain problems since he did some vein work (thrombophelbitis) but his response" oh that will go away..it's nothing." His had the nerve to tell me he'd attend my funeral if he was wrong. "How's that" he added. What a disgrace to his profession.What a disgrace to humanity. I never did receive the care I required..always pain and infection ...blood shooting to the ceiling because he cut wrong...how can this man be allowed to continue without a review? I did not ever get a receipt from him for the extra services rendered that weren't covered . He mad a mess of my legs...I feel so sorry for patients that he has mistreated and hope he has to pay for his callousness and negligence.

This doctor and his so called nurse....are the worse i have ever encountered and hope i never have to experience such unprofessional and uncaring people again..that being said.....i will spend the rest of my life going around with only one leg because they refused to listen to my complaint.......i was suppose to be poster child for their treatment...give me a break......they took lots of pics....which have conveniately disappeared...........stay away from this clinic

Great surgeon. I would trust him with my life. I find him very friendly and approachable. Some people expect their surgeon to be their friend.

This doctor and clinic is horrible in my opinion. I wouldn't let them touch me at all. They all seem to have a god complex, including his nurse who is a wound specialist (she maybe very knowledgable in ulcers, but hasn't a clue about bedside manners and empathy). My family member was referred here, and if we could go back and do it again, we would have gotten a second opinion. Good luck to you if you use this questionable doctor!

Very unhappy with this health care professional. Someone should tell him about the word care. He was unpleasant, abrupt and down right rude to me. My GP will get an earful about sending me to him.

The worst....had an ingrown toenail removed, told me that other doctors did not do it right becasue it grew back. He said it would not grow back becasue he would do it "right". I almost lost my whole toe, he dressed it too tight after the sugery and cit off the circulation. Huge blisters formed, the pain was unbearable, he would not call in a prescription for the pain, told me to see my family Dr. I almost pulled my hair out (literally) from the pain. I now have a deformed toe with a deformed toenail growing back. So much for doing it "right". In addition, his bedside manner is non-existent. Look at me, I am a doctor mentality. Don't speak to me, don't question me, I know everything.
