My son was born with a cleft lip and palate, Dr Bezuhley did both of of his surgeries and we could not have asked for someone better. He and his team make my son comfortable and have always made themselves available for questions and concerns, I can't imagine trusting someone more with my childs care.

My son had come down with an illness the beginning of covid it was not covid but while he was in a coma his body shut down as a result he lost blood flow to his feet and parts of both feet died and he needed amputations dr B was AMAZING! he was super kind to both my son and i and took the time to explain everything to my teenage boy what would take place during surgery and after he came by to visit with my sin multiple times before and after surgery the surgery went beautifully and recovery was smooth i would 100% referr him to anyone needing a procedure that he can do hes a magnificent man and surgeon! And he shows it in his work

During my son's appointments & surgery we experienced two completely different versions of Dr. Bezuhly. At our appointments he was kind, funny and really engaged with our young son. He made us feel comfortable, we trusted him and he was very knowledgeable. We had in person appointments and over zoom. We also had a biopsy day surgery as well. When it came time for his final surgery, Dr. Bezuhly was completely different from any other time we met with him. He didn't know why we were there, didn't know the plan for the surgery, was very abrupt and rude when speaking with us and made my son very fearful of him. Once he went to his computer and realized his mistake, he did not apologize or try to turn things around for our son, he was all business and the nurses ended up taking our son screaming and crying into the operating room. My husband and I were left in shock at this experience, as we had only been praising this doctor up until this moment. We told everyone we knew how wonderful he was. My entire opinion of him changed in that moment and I am so disappointed that is how our experience with him ended. When his surgery was over, he met with us and it was as if nothing had happened. He was back to his positive, joking, reassuring self that we had known all along. It was very bizarre and disappointing. I regret not bringing it up to him in the moment and think of it often.

Dr. Bezuhly is an amazing person who is very knowledgeable in what he does... It's been 7 years since my son had his 1st cleft lip repair surgery. Having a 6 month old baby have surgery made me feel very scared and worried, he reassured me that everything was going to be fine and he text me from the OR to advise me all is good so far... I've never in my wildest dreams imagined a doctor would do that... He loves kids and does everything to make them smile and feel at ease... I'll forever grateful for him. The BEST of the best!

Felt so confident when we visited Dr. Bezuhly twice for my son’s dislocated thumb. My son is very shy and he made him smile and he actually looked forward to seeing him for the second visit. Hope he stays at the IWK, great experience.
