Extremely rude, probably the most rude doctor I have ever met or received treatment from. I understand that working in an emergency department is highly stressful, and I don't expect a high level of compassion and emotion from doctors but they should at least have the decency to treat people kindly. I've been in the ER several times and multiple times I've known what my injury or illness was and was met with a condescending attitude and insistence that I was wrong up until the test results proved me right, then there was still no apology or acknowledgement from him that I was right. He seems irritated when patients faint or are in physical pain, or have trouble articulating after fanting or being in high levels of pain. If you're dealing with a serious issue or he doesn't like you then he will pass you off to a different doctor. Better to see someone else or be passed to a different doctor than deal with him.

I went to the Lincoln City Oregon Samaritan Hospital Emergency room where I saw Dr. Raj Baman. He was abrasive, egotistical, rude, arrogant, condenscending and without compassion. In my opinion He should not be working with the public. I went into the emergency room for care and treatment, and left without either and in a puddle of tears after he belittled and verbally abused me. No one should be treated or spoken to the way that Dr. Baman talked to me and obviously treated others on this board who have expierienced the same abuse from this man that I have. Samaritan Hospital should realize what I liablity they have on their hands with this guy and remove him from their payroll. I will drive the 35 miles to the next nearest hospital in the event that I or my family require emergency care in the future. I am also reporting Dr. Baman to the proper authorities. In closing, Samaritan Hospital you have lost my respect and mostimportantly my trust.

This is the most arrogant and obnoxious young MD you will ever find. He knows just enough to do damage, but not enough to do you any good.

This Dr. smells like a cheap bar. He is visibly high/intoxicated, egotistical, rude, incompetent, arrogant, incoherent, and did I mention HIGH AS A KITE? I was mistreated, waited for 5 hours after his diagnosis and they did NOTHING to actually treat me, even though the emergency room was empty. I sat there and sat there, and I think the Dr. was afraid to do the treatment until he "came down" off of whatever mind-altering substance he was high on. I ended up leaving this hospital after 5 hours of sitting in a bed in the ER, and I traveled 30 miles to the next closest emergency room where I received excellent, professional treatment right away. I wouldn't trust Baman to valet park my car, let alone treat me medically. BE WARE!!!
