To be positive I must say the office ladies were friendly, helpful and efficient. The doctor on the other hand was flippant and dismissive. she often interrupted me while I was describing my symptoms and showed little concern for how my array of symptoms were making my work day untenable. I also was dismayed that I was asked no screening questions with respect to Sjogren's Syndrome, even though my sudden onset of symptoms and demographic are possibly suggestive of that disorder. Ironically there is a large poster at the office detailing Sjogren's , and stating how serious it is and how frequently it goes undiagnosed!! Similar to the other rating here, I found her technique with my eye a bit rushed and rough in comparison to other clinicians. Thankfully I have another appointment with a different ophthalmologist fairly soon.

After my experience with Dr. Sullivan and her staff, I was very clear with them that I would not be back. Staff were extremely rude and argumentative. Dr. Sullivan didn't perform a glaucoma test, didn't seem to think I needed one (?).

I enjoy seeing Dr. Sullivan and find her to be very thorough in her examinations. She has found things that might lead to problems eventually and I trust her to diagnose me properly. I do not actually need treatment so I can't say much more than that about her skills at this point. The past few years I have found her relaxed and friendly, though prior to that she was a bit more brusque at times. I agree that the reminder call for an appointment booked a year ago should be further in advance.

I recieved a reminder message at 3pm the day before a scheduled appointment, which had been booked a full year in advance. I understand that it's my responsibility as a patient to keep track of scheduled appointments, but this particular one slipped through the cracks. I called and left a message notifying the office that I would have to reschedule and within a half hour received a call back. The receptionist was very rude, telling me that it puts the office in a tight spot that I have to reschedule and that I should have given more notice. I mentioned that it might be prudent for their office to call two weeks in advance to confirm appts booked a year ago, as other offices seem to have no problem doing, but at this response, the receptionist became very argumentative. I'm sure I'm not the first person to have to reschedule an appointment. I was disappointed at the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff.

This woman is without a doubt one of the worst physicians of any type that I have ever encountered. I was treated with disdain and my concerns and questions were dismissed with no satisfactory answers nor any compassion. When I spoke with my doctor about my visit with "Dr" Sullivan he immediately referred me to another ophthalmologist who has been absolutely fantastic to deal with. Do not waste your time consulting with Katherine Sullivan.

I have seen Dr. Sullivan extensively about 15 years ago, and, with age comes cataracts; therefore, I've had my experieince renewed.I am impressed with her professional, but approachable demeanour. To me, Dr. Sullivan is terrific.

I don't know what medication the other reviewer was on when they wrote about Sullivan but she is, bar none, the worst doctor experience I have ever had. Quite rude and abrupt, she also has a rough manner about her which, when working with eyes you need to be the opposite (gentle). When I had to go to an ophthamologist again I begged for a different referral and even my doctor said that he got a lot of such requests whenever he tried to refer to Sullivan. No one I know has had a good experience with her so I would definitely ask for another referral if you have to see an eye specialist. This doctor should just retire or find herself a good psychiatrist to address her anger issues.
