every visit is a long wait.. usually it is close to an hour before he comes in to see us… I think he’s nice and knowledgeable but just respecting patients time is not ideal. The staff at the clinic are alright but one time they didn’t call me about rescheduling the appointment and I showed up with no doctor after waited for 3 months for an appointment. Not a lot of empathy for parents bringing their infant to doctor visit when we have to avoid nap times prepare food and ensure a ride there.

I was looking for another doctor/medical clinic on google and came across this guy. I went to school with him and he is an awesome guy. Honest. respectful, and funny and outgoing. Those are the qualities I hope to see in a doc.

Go see him, I know you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Swartz is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable doctor. He was our sons pediatrician when we were at Richmond general and had a short stay in the NICU. He has continued to follow our son since then and has helped us through breathing/swallowing concerns, eczema, acid reflux, allergies and other things. Every time we go in to see him he alleviates our fears with the education that he provides us. He always takes his time and is never rushed. All in all he’s a wonderful doctor!

Awesome doctor! Calm and easygoing. Assisted with my baby girl’s birth at Richmond Hospital in 2018. Introduced himself before birth and tried to keep me calm. Tried his best to distract me from being so anxious during the c-section. Checked up on me and my baby after her birth and answered all my questions. I appreciate his support.....he’s a really good doctor.

My son had a different pediatrician for many years but he sadly retired and we were referred to Dr. Schartz. He was a perfect fit for my son. He really takes the time to get to know his patients and families and makes them feel like they are important.
