One of the things I like most about Dr. KUMPULA is that he doesn't push pills on you, he tries to find out whats actually wrong and then goes from there. The best Dr. I have ever had

Dr. Kumpula has been my physician for almost two years, first as a walk in patient and then as a permanent patient. He is knowledgeable and willing to spend time with you. For this reason you might have to wait a time to see him. I’ve been very happy with Dr. Kumpula’s expertise and plan to continue seeing him. While during the covid-19 pandemic he has been reachable by phone with no wait which has been fantastic.

Dr. Kumpula took his time and addressed my concerns one by one. He did a check of my medical history and made several recommendations and issued a prescription. Following his knowledge, advice and treatment the issues I had gone to him for resolved quickly and have only gotten better.

Dr kumpula listens to your questions and if you ask him for more time to discuss a problem he will give you more time. And if he feels that he wants to see you more often, he will ask you when you can come back.He checks my meds with me, adjusts them and follows up. He is very smart and intuitive. I will only go to him for anything really important.He cares.

May have to wait awhile but I personally do not mind. Dr. listens to what I have to say and will discuss the options. It is ultimately my choice as to what I want to do.

Use to be good now he doesn't even talk to you he gets his nurse/secretary to do all his work no more 1 on 1 talking (or if there is it is not for longer than 2 minutes) never met a doctor who can't handle doing his own job

Dr. Kumpula is the best doctor I’ve ever had. My first appointment he spent 40 minutes with me to get my full history. And when I seemed uncomfortable because I thought it was taking up too much of his time, he told me not to worry about it and it was his job. He gave me practical advice about what to do in my situation. He started with things that I could control like nutrition and exercise and he did not try and push pills on me. He showed me that he cared by listening intently and using excellent nonverbal communication like nodding his head, looking me in the eye, and asking follow-up questions. I have never found a doctor that prescribed better eating habits and exercise as the first things to do. He is very knowledgable and does not push his views onto his patients. He instead listens and suggests what is right for the individual in front of him. I wish more doctors were like him.
