Prescribed a medication. And then doesn’t do prior authorizations. I was told to take the prescription (heb-$1,500 but with my insurance’s prior authorization $31) or an over the counter vitamin ($35)......whichever is cheaper. What I read was that the prescriptions more effective than vitamin. With my insurance the prescription was cheaper. All he has to do is make a phone call for prior authorization. My insurance company said they’d never heard of a doctor prescribing something and then not doing a prior authorization.

My husband had to have two surgeries within six months. Dr. Prieto is the most caring compassionate doctor we have ever met. Great sense of humor. We would not recommend anyone else but Dr. Prieto.
