Excellent throughout, highly professional and competent. Cataract surgery was a breeze for me and the results outstanding. It was as if nothing invasive had been done, no pain or discomfort. Exceptionally skilled ophthalmologist with a wonderful patient rapport. Great communication which was very clear and answered all questions completely.
Had surgery performed by him personally. Perfect outcome which resolved my issue completely. Great after treatment care. Very highly recommended.

Treated like cattle from reception to doctor and then billing staff. Dr. G has a male optometrist assistant who is rude, cold, impersonal, shocking breath, rough on sclera and so self absorbed. I developed a bacteremia approx 10 hours after Dr Godfrey operated to replace lens for cataract. Source of bacteria in my blood stream??? I nearly died.

Amazing doctor and his staff were all really pleasant and knew their stuff. I was advised it would be over an hour and half for all the tests etc so wasn't surprised by the wait. Surgery was done quickly and after I adjusted to my new "eyes" life is great. Highly recommend

After several complaints from Day 4 after my left eye cataract surgery my eye was very blurry with double outlines and ghosting shadows on everything. Needed temporary glasses for $500 and had to wait 6 months. Then given a secondary lens. Improved slightly BUT still have double vision and some ghosting. Not happy. This doctor wouldn't admit any problems from his side but insisted I just "didnt like it" ! Dismissive but I have to live with it. I now need reading glasses for everything. Very dissatisfied

His technician, Andrew acts as though he is the Specialist. After waiting 2 hours for a booked appointment, saw Dr Godfrey who didn't really offer my much. He doesn't explain anything.

Dr Godfrey is a brilliant specialist, his staff are always rude at the front counter- very sad as most of them are mature aged women, never smile, always and I mean always act like the patients are a burden to them at any time, very unhelpful and very unfriendly at all times of my many visits of over ten - Dr Godfrey is very friendly, helpful and professional - never mind waiting up to two hours to receive his service,
