Dr.Wolk was not very friendly. I came in for a consult. I did not sign any papers. Then him and his staff started calling me to force me to go with them for braces. Do not recommend him. Save yourself and your family the headache. If you look at all the other reviews, are by his staff. He is an awful orthodontist and his practices are even worse.

Did not complete the treatment. After the year of braces, even though my teeth were not fixed, he stopped my treatment. Charged me over 10 thousand for an incomplete job and left me hanging. I would never ever recommend Dr. Wolk to anyone. Very rude, money hungry, and unprofessional.

All of my experience with dr Wolk has been positive. He is an ethical and skilled practitioner and he has a heart of gold. His work is top notch and he’s incredible with children. Highly, highly recommend.

I worked for Dr. Ronald Wolk for a few years. I also was his patient.
His work ethics are impeccable, and his orthodontic skills and experience are just exquisite. He also takes out time to teach, travel and volunteer his time in support of organized orthodontics. I know him to be a very confident and structured person and always planning ahead because his work is a great part of his life. He is also a family man. He always shared stories at the office about his kids and grandson. He is a lover of dogs and almost at every point in time since the day I met him, he has always had three to four dogs.

Dr. Ronald Wolk is a great Orthodontist. He is very caring and patient. It is no wonder my kids love him. Me my wife had a hard time convincing our son to install braces. Dr. Ronald talked my son into trusting him, and he did.

As a father who tried everything to get his child to accept the fact that an orthodontist is going to work on his teeth and failed, I am amazed at how Dr. Ronald did it.

I worked for Dr. Ronald Wolk in Calgry since 201. Dr. Wolk is a family man from Manitoba, an Orthodontist who opened his orthodontic practice in 1977 with his classmate and long-time buddy, Dr Hoffman. Together they owned and worked tirelessly for almost 40 years in their practice and were very proud of their achievements. Dr. Wolk remains very active currently in organized orthodontics. He has served as President of the Alberta Society of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. Today he still serves the American Association of Orthodontists as a delegate to their House of Delegates.

In my opinion, a lot of things about Dr Wolk stand out for me. At first when you meet him, he is very personable, gives you his full attention and asks very straight forward questions that make you feel he is interested in knowing you as a person. But then, working with Dr Wolk, helps you understand truly how it feels to work with a leader. He is very thorough and doesn’t mince words when he tells you about the improvements you need to make on yourself to stand out. I love that about him; because, most people talk you down when you fail but he never does that. Rather, he would call you aside and tell you straight up why you failed and how you can improve on yourself. I see a great leader in him; one who motivates you to be the best version of yourself and who is your biggest cheerleader in your time of triumph!

I have been treated by Dr. Ron for almost 3 years. I am in my sixties, so I needed delicate care. Once, I removed my braces my bite was finally corrected and I felt normal again.

I have to say that Dr. Ron was very friendly and understanding. It is hard enough for an old guy like me who lived his life scared of dentists to undergo such a procedure.

Dr. Ron helped me adjust to my braces. It really was a delightful experience.
