As other comments have mentioned, she is moving away from Calgary. We are SO sad! She is a phenomenal family doctor. I have seen her for 15 years - through all my health ups and downs, a miscarriage (she called me personally and was so compassionate), 2 full term pregnancies, and saw my children for the last 10 years. She really listens and had a lot of knowledge about other supports in the city. She was so thorough. She is already very missed.

Dr. MacAuley is such an amazing family physician. She was my doctor since I developed pulmonary embolisms when I was 22yo. 14 years later and 2 babies now 5 and 6. She validated my concerns, sought all the approprates tests/interventions, and talked me off ledges when I was being a little to much of hypochondriac, yet never made me feel silly about my concerns. I am so sad she's moving to Ontario. I hope this review finds her new patients, you'll be lucky to have her looking out for you!

She is a very kind doctor, she listens to your concerns and addresses them proactively. Unfortunately she is leaving Calgary and heading East. Not sure why good doctors like her are leaving to go East. She is the second doctor that leaves the Eest to go East. I will miss her.
Her staff in Calgary was terrible, rude, unfriendly.

I've had several Family Doctors over the years (I'm turning 64), but she's the best. Her knowledge is up-to-date, no mean feat in that a Family Doctor has to read a tremendous number of journals on a wide number of topics. She treats all age groups, from babies to geriatrics and everyone in between. She cares about me and listens to all my questions. She takes the time to explain all proposed treatments. I never feel rushed. At the end of my visit, she ALWAYS asks me if there is anything else she can help me with. She's my hero.

Dr Christy MacAulay is a top notch, experienced family doctor. She does not prescribe meds unnecessarily. She is very thorough and will refer you to a specialist, if required. She makes prompt follow-up phone calls to discuss lab work or other test results. Her staff are all very competent. You have to book far in advance as she is booked up, especially with the backlog created from the pandemic, but in my opinion she is worth the wait.

Treated my 90 year old parents terribly. Obviously wanted them to go elsewhere. Cancelled appt for father when he was in waiting room
