Unprofessional doctor. Had an unpleasant experience with her.

Dr. Norman is a kind, professional, caring doctor who truly has compassion and passion for what she does. My mother had some suspicious calcifications appear in a diagnostic mammogram, in October. Dr. Norman showed empathy and reassured us that most of the time, these result in benign findings. She eased our anxiety and made us feel hopeful. We had the core biopsy today, by Dr. Gupta and again, we have nothing but great, positive things to say about Dr. Norman and the Breast Clinic team, at Scarborough General. I have never seen such a level of care for patients as I have seen at this specific breast clinic. I'm absolutely appalled by some of these comments. In fact, I find it disheartening to read. I commend Dr. Norman on her professionalism and her work. We are fortunate to have such a great health care system. Thank you, Dr. Norman and the breast clinic staff for all that you do.

Unbelievably scattered and heedless, is probably very academic but definitely no idea how to communicate with patients or listen to them. She lives in her head. Ordered all sorts of tests, shoved them at me without explaining what each was, what sequence they should become. She is not comfortable outside the surroundings of her “own hospital”, and it shows. I have zero confidence in her. For a surgeon, precision, clarity and laser focus are not her strengths.

I was referred to Dr Nadine Norman by my Family Doctor. I found the Secretary was alright. Dr Nadine Norman on the other hand was horrible. When asking what surgeries I've had done she in a undesirable way said oh you've had a lot of surgeries. Then said due to one of my surgeries I had done oh for me to have my hernia repaired it would be to complicated that she only specializes in small hernia repairs but looked at the information from my Doctor and said it's a small hernia but she wouldn't do the surgery. I'm not impressed.

This is a horrible doctor! She is a real b*tch. Because of her poor choices, lack of time during appointments to answer and HEAR the patient, I developed a life threatening infection. I spent half a year trying to get her to understand how bad my symptoms were. After being referred to Dr. Pennington because she didn't know what to do, he was surprised I was left untreated. This woman is in fact a racist! She was kind to the Caucasians in her office, but any other race, she is over the top horrible! I regret not suing her for malpractice after acouple of Dr.'s recommended I do. If you are a coloured person, don't go to this horrible woman!

I had my first visit with Dr. Norman, and it was absolutely fantastic she is very knowledgeable, caring,warm and made me feel at ease. I came out of the appointment very positive and I would highly recommend her to anyone of my friends and family members. Top notch Dr.

I was referred to Dr. Norman by my family doctor for breast cancer surgery this year. She was nothing but caring and empathetic while being professional - and held my hand every step of the way right up to my follow up appointment. While her practice is very busy and there are the usual delays waiting to see her, her bedside manner and experience is worth the wait. I would highly recommend Dr. Norman.

Dr. Norman is a very kind, caring, and patient person, but all these before You have the surgery. After the surgery, you go to her for a follow up, she is totally a different person. I do not know if she gets paid for the follow ups or not.
