Dr Norman is a caring professional and my family is very grateful for the care that she provided to our 94 year old mother. We always felt that she went far beyond the call of duty. We were very lucky to be in her care and are very appreciative of all that she provided.

I agree with all the comments that state that Dr. Norman is a racist and horrible human being. She is the type of doctor that would interrupt you whenever she wants and makes you feel stupid for not answering fast enough. If you are a person of colour don’t come to her, she will ask you uncomfortable questions and you would leave feeling frustrated and angry. I hope I will never have to deal with this type of arrogant doctor again.

I had my gallbladder and hernia surgery in November 2022 with Dr. Norman. Great professional, friendly and caring doctor. She made sure I felt comfortable prior to the anaesthesia while on the surgery table. I was impressed as well by the professionalism of the Scarborough hospital medical staff (nurses and clerks) pre- and -post surgery. Well organized, although, everything is around the clock, everyone took the time to answer my questions or my husbands questions who was in the waiting room more anxious than me.

This doctor got name dropped in the walk in clinic I was at and now I know never to see this person because I know they won't investigate fully and thoroughly into whatever problem I come forward to them with. Additionally they will charge you for any documents you misplaced, and won't fax it to anyone until you do so. How crazy is that, if you lost your wallet and just got into an accident and need your papers to get further proceed treatment and you went to this doctor first to get examined. They wouldn't send you the papers unless you pay. Crazy.

Dr. Norman is terrible. We were referred to her for my mom's breast issues that were not resolved for over a year. After making us wait over 30 minutes extra as she was visited by an old colleague, she insisted that my mom's nipple scarring issue including a small mass within the same breast, is only skin eczema and no need to worry. Despite insisting for a biopsy, she declined any further checks. she even said if this is not resolved in 3 months with a cream that she prescribed, we can see a dermatologist. I was not happy with her diagnosis as it seemed careless. after that, We asked our family doctor to send us to Sunnybrook since Dr. Norman didn't do anything for us. 1.5 month later (as the period coincided with Christmas break), the Sunnybrook doctor suspected Paget's disease of nipple over the phone consultation, gave us in-person urgent appointment during their lunch break, and my mom was diagnosed with Paget's diseases and invasive stage 1 breast cancer within two weeks. The time that was wasted due to Dr. Norman's ignorance and carelessness, pushed my mom's cancer from stage zero to stage1. I can't believe how Dr. Norman didn't even think of Paget's disease while the doctor in Sunnybrook could do correct diagnosis over the phone and prior to any tests. Please get a second opinion and don't trust her diagnosis. Sunnybrook teams treat you with care, respect and attention that you need in times like this.

I've just seen Dr. Norman for a pre-biopsy consult and after a week of being in the dark, came out very reassured. She is very knowledgeable, calm, willing to explain underlying conditions, tests that had been done and those which were to be done. She took time to listen and answer my questions. She made my day.

I have only positive things to say about Dr. Norman. She is professional, friendly and caring pre-op and post-op, even had a few reassuring words to say right before I was wheeled into the operating room.
