I have just had my 2nd full hip replacement.....Dr Williams performed both within 5 months. I cannot express how amazing this orthopedic surgeon is! I was suffering with deep buttock and low back pain for several years and he right away said we need to xray your hips standing and laying down. Low and behold! Both hip joints were bone on bone and needed replacing! I was confident and comfortable with his knowledge and reputation as the best! Both new hips were on point.....identical leg lengths were achieved (one of my fears!). He has a wonderful personality and an empathy that draws you to him. He performs the replacement using the anterior method which has a quick recovery and great post op results for wear and tear and no restrictions! He is a rockstar!!! LH, Burlington, Ontario

Dr Williams did his first surgery on me last July after an accident where I was taken to the trama unit. I had follow up visits with him the fracture clinic of the next 8 months. He was also very professional and you could tell his knowledge was exceptional. Everything I went through he had seen many times and know the best and efficient way to correct it. I just finished a second surgery with him to do some grafting on my femur as it was not healing . It staff and Dr Williams were all amazing and give me comfort as we went into this procedure. The team was very happy with the out come and I am back home healing. I would recommend him to all of my friends and family. His skill and knowledge is always clear and he has a great bedside manner. He takes the time you need to explain the productive making you feel very comfortable. Thanks to Dr Williams and the whole team there at Hamilton General for looking after me so well.

One year ago today, Doctor Williams gave me my life back. After suffering through debilitating hip pain for 7 years, injections, years of pain meds and pain that impacted every aspect of my life, Doctor Williams returned me to health. Within a few short months of rehab, the pain meds were gone, I was going for bike rides, hikes and long walks. My medication has been reduced to 1 Tylenol at bedtime. Doctor William is a true miracle worker and well work the wait (20 months). I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. Just eternally grateful for all you have done for me.

I fractured my pelvis just 2 months ago (horse reared up, landed on it's back and I was in between the horse and the ground, still in the saddle). Dr. Williams was one of the surgeons that put me back together with a rod, plate and several screws. I just had a follow-up appointment with him and he was great to deal with! He was honest and positive at the same time (said how lucky I was, but doing exceptionally well). I found him very personable, responsive to my questions and concerns, and seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. You saved my life!

Had a knee surgery that ended with a surgical fracture and a surgical blood clot. I was given a local but it didn't take then I was given a Fentanyl anaesthetic. I heard the doctor administering the anaesthetic yelling out to him that I was allergic just before I went under. I had informed him in writing long before the surgery that I had an allergy to it. I can't walk without help and have pain and swelling all the time.. I am in sharp pain and AFTER his surgery he informed me I have inflammation which caused my problem. and created severe lymphedema and the said hat I had it before surgery. He also said he could not help me any further. . I have problems with circulation and developed swelling and an ache from the throbbing. He read a paragraph to me on our last visit which he felt exhonorated him from any legal responsibility. I hated writing this but my life is worse and he ruined it! What now? While in there I had a pretty awful experience with a man in my room and it led me to a depression. I wrote it out for him and his answer was that he can't be everywhere! It was his floor! No solution was ever made and no one has reached out to find out what happened.

Five year checkup last week. Hip has zero! Wear and tear and he told me I am good for life. I’m a 64 years old and play squash, mountain bike, row, and swim three per week. Dr Williams my a complete hip replacement ten years ago, he restored my life back, since that time I've gone back to running, triathlons and goaltending, often placing at races and winning several hockey league championships, absolutely the best.

I have just had knee replacement surgery 10 days ago with Dr Williams . Amazing surgeon & I have never gone into an operating room before & not be nervous. He and his team provide such a calm atmosphere & you know they are going to take care of you. Cannot say enough about this surgeon & his team.
