I'm shocked to see the review about bad patient rapport. Dr Tessel has always seemed the nicest guy, patient kind and lighthearted. He is open to any questions and provides informed and easily understood answers.

His staff is also incredible.
I would recommed him to anybody and everybody
The staff managed to make an appointment in such short notice - I had a slip and fall and shatttered my glasses.

I think he is a wonderful doctor. Takes his time with me. Has a sense of humor. The staff is very friendly and I always get in on time. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an Optometrist.

I was switched to Dr. Tessel from his counterpart (who is stepping back/retiring). I have been seeing him for a few years and am constantly disappointed. Dr. Tessel has terrible patient rapport. He rushes through appointments and does not listen to what you have to say. He does not acknowledge concerns and brushes them off without investigating further. When looking to discuss laser eye surgery he was only willing to discuss one center as he receives a commission from them. Whenever calling for an appointment, the staff are rushed and do not take time to answer questions. I will be switching physicians.

We've been seeing Dr Tessel for close to 12 years. He's great with the kids, always explains things, and has a really pleasant manner.

We have been going to Dr Tessel for 11 or so years.we really like him. He is great with the kids, and puts them at ease. He is friendly, helpful and courteous. I have recommended him to several people, and will continue to do so
