We have been Dr Tepperman's patients for over 25 years, we live 500 miles from Toronto and go there annually for checkups. That is how happy we are with him! I do not wear contacts but my glasses always fit properly and I have never had problems with the lens, always very satisfied. Over my lifetime I have seen many unsatisfactory optometrists,, Dr Tepperman is the best!

I went to see Dr. Tepperman after a friend told me how good he was at fitting her into contact lenses and teaching her how to wear them properly. I have been terrified of putting anything in my eyes since before I can remember and this has always stopped me from trying to wear contact lenses. Even eye drops are a problem for me. But the doctor and his staff were so patient with me. I took me several tries but they never gave up on me (even if I gave up on myself) I now wear daily multi focal contact lenses and can read and drive and work on my computer with no problem. I thank them every day for not giving up on me and I give them A for effort. I have learned from past experience that you shouldn't always read and trust other people's reviews - and in this case I am glad I didn't!

I am so glad to see others commenting on how unbelievably rude Casey Tepperman is, as I was beginning to think I was making it up. He is the definition of a douche bag. After just a few visits I have well over a dozen stories I can (and do) share with friends, family and co-workers as we sit in awe of his unbridled arrogance. If I hadn't already paid for the service I'm receiving I would tell him where to shove it and take my business elsewhere. As this point, I view it as a form of entertainment. From blaming co-workers for his mistakes (both to their faces and behind their backs) to being out right abusive in his comments and accusations, I leave his office feeling glad that I don't have to wake up and be him every day. Can't wait to see what he comes up with at my next appointment...

Dr. Tepperman's knowledge is very good, however he's a business man that's all. It's all about the MONEY, and how much his office makes (someone has to pay for the rent and designer everything!) Yes he's arrogant and a know it all, but you get used to that, and over it quickly. I was a patient of his for over 15 years, and then found another optometrist who is not pushing sales! His staff also has to educate themselves a bit more on government covered exams and other covered programs.

Switched to Dr. Tepperman after a previous bad experience. Best optometrist in Toronto. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient for 25 years. I don't know anyone else who would come to his office on a weekend, in a snow storm to examine a patient who needed a post surgery eye exam.

If you want your eyes examined by an arrogant dandy who would try to up sell a blind man on contacts and new Prada frames then by all means go to this perma-tan-man. He is real piece of work.

Went in expecting to pay zero dollars for a checkup (I have a condition covered by OHIP). Go through the procedure, final cost is just short of $300. Two tests I wasn't asked to consent to, and they claimed they'd credit me when OHIP gave them the fee. After threatening to file a complaint with the College of Optometrists, I got a full refund. While I'm being refunded, Dr. Tepperman comes out to give me the 'sorry not sorry' routine about how he thought I wanted the best care for my eyes.

Classy guy. STAY AWAY

This is the worst eye doctor I have ever been to! Dr. Tepperman is awful, extremely rude, arrogant and we totally feel we were had! In what should have cost less than $200 for turned out to be double! Eye exam, contact lens exam was charged even though I dont wear them often, and extra procedures - of which I never signed for and I was not told there was a charge. STAY AWAY! All his plans & charges are unnecessary.
