Echoing other reviews here. I, along with my family, have been patients of Dr Tepperman for many years. That being said, I will NEVER be going back. I put up with his arrogance and condescension (especially to women) for years as a younger woman but he was so incredibly rude verging on aggressive to me at my last appointment, when I didn't want to buy my contact lenses directly from him, that I have finally decided to find another doctor. He honestly acted like a petulant child and seemed legitimately angry. I think he's clinically probably fine, and nice to those who he knows he can make money off of. At heart though he's a salesman first and he's very pushy. If you're not upper middle class and/or a man, I would recommend finding a different, more respectful care provider.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tepperman for about 30 years.
I would not ever think of going to any other optometrist.
Dr. Teperman is the MOST excellent professional you could EVERY have taking care of your eyesight and health.

DO NOT BELIEVE these negative comments listed below mine. The comments all sound to me like they have been written by the same person. How pathetic and cowardly of this person.


It seems to me it is a totally disgrunted individual who is taking pleasure in discrediting Dr. Tepperman's reputation.

This individual should be revealed and sued for such personal attacks and this person is a coward for hiding behind such a site.

Avoid this man at all costs. Arrogant, rude, ego the size of Texas. Will never ever go back and strongly recommend against anyone going to him. He has also been reported for failing to treat a patient which resulted in blindness.

Arrogant, egotistical., judgemental. To him, anyone who doesn’t buy his frames, which he seems to think are THE most stylish in North America, opts to be ugly. The actual exam took 5 minutes, and when I commented on this he informed me with over-confident smugness that speed connotes his expertise.
The one-opened-button-too-many on his shirt coupled with his spray tan is reminiscent of Tom Jones in the 1970s Ew.

He seemed to rush through. He dissed my current glasses. He talked about strange things, like the kind of computer I should use. And most annoying, he tried to sell me three pair of glasses. Very pushy and arrogant. No thanks. I'm finding someone else.

Dr. Tepperman is a truly outstanding doctor. After discovering an emergency issue on a Saturday prior to leaving town for 3 weeks, Dr. Tepperman rushed over to my house to help me out. I appreciated his patience, thoroughness, and thoughtfulness in that stressful situation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Casey's for 2 years and he is one of the best medical persons that I have ever dealt with. He is professional, knowledgeable and thorough.

He may be forthright and blunt but if you understand where that is coming from, he really cares about his patients. He has gone above and beyond for me, at times coming in outside of his regular office hours to tend to my Iritis.

I would highly recommend Dr. Casey. And Lesley keeps the office running smoothly.

I've had Dr. Casey Tepperman as my Optometrist for the last 2 years. Dr. Casey is one of the best medical professionals that I have ever dealt with. He is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I know some may be turned off by his forthright and blunt style. But what they miss is his deep caring about his patients.
He has gone above and beyond with his care - he has met me on different occasions outside of his regular office hours to ensure my Iritis was healing and continues to follow up. And I've had my 90 year old mother go to him for care and my mother is extremely discriminating in her medical practitioner dealings. She loves Dr. Casey.
I would highly recommend Dr. Casey Tepperman. And the office with Lesley at the helm is second to none.

i have been a patient of Dr. Teperman for 35 years. And my husband for about 25 years. With my problematic eyesight, Dr. Teperman has been EXCELLENT and improved my eyesight over the decades.
He is thorough in every aspect of eye care and my husband and I have NEVER had ANY complaints or ANY concerns about his professionalism and knowledge.
For those who are complaining about 'extra' costs, the costs are for the thorough testing of your eyes.
If you are looking for low cost versus the best care, then you need to go elsewhere.
Dr. Teperman is honest and straightforward in his opinions about eye care because he knows what he is doing.

My husband and I buy our glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses from Dr. Teperman.

We do not look for the lowest or low price but for value and most important the health of our eyes and eyesight.

Dr. Teperman has a VERY long list of very loyal patients, many I have spoken to and they ALL say he is the very best specialist.



So to those who are complaining and write nasty comments, you should DEFINATELY google for cheap opticians and eye care people.

Writing nasty notes about a medical professional is just plain nasty.

Dr. Tepperman is a caring doctor. He is a great contact lens fitter. I had a problem with one of my eyes and he was available on the weekend. Lesley and the office staff always respond quickly.
