I only gave him a 4 for Punctuality because he tends to run late. That's not always a bad thing though as it means you're really not on the clock with limited time to talk.
He's an all around great doctor. He's been my doctor for 14+ years.
Now that he's in his own building, it is so much better. You can either request a phone call (they will call you) or in person.
He is smart, will listen to you and try to find answers. Not like many doctors out there that want to just shove you will pills
In the end, a great doctor

Dr ross has been my dr for about 8 years now. He's one of the kindest Dr's I've ever had and he tries his best to help in the most positive ways. He is not a pill pusher like some are out there. He's always recommending exercise or meditation or even some books he's read etc. My only issue is the staff can be a bit intimidating at times and rude. Since getting his new practice I do find the staff much more positive though.

Since opening his new practice, I have been treated very well by staff. Dr. Ross seems to be much more relaxed and I have never felt rushed with my concerns. I am so thankful to have him as my Doctor. He has helped me through many health issues over the past 17 years and I anticipate many more years with this kind and caring Doctor.

Dr. Ross is a very nice man and doctor, however as a doctor these days, his head never seems to be in the appointment, never has physically checked me out with the symptoms I present and I worry my chart will not have the proper info in it that we have discussed. Sometimes, even though you've told the staff you are there for results (which you're supposed to) your results may not be in the file, then the doctor is in and out of the room finding them but still not giving you the full answers. The Staff I find are very unprofessional, I know they are over worked in many ways in that office but you think they could at least smile more and be somewhat compassionate, have a good customer service type rapport with patients but they treat you like you're wasting their time. I am always nervous booking an appt because the way they make you feel and I always feel uneasy as I'm waiting in the office to be seen..they always look mad and uninviting! At times when I've phoned there they will keep putting you on hold for sometimes up to 15 minutes..(I think that's a control thing) Please be more professional and compassionate, most patients who come in are genuine about their conditions! Thank you

I recently was seen by Dr. Ross in the Nicola Valley Hospital Emergency. I was visiting my dad in Merritt and had a sleepless night of mysterious leg pain and collapsed from the pain when stepping down from a stair. Dr. Ross was very friendly, kind, and thorough with his questioning and care, including a trip to Kelowna for an ultrasound and a lengthy list of advice for follow up with my GP in Vancouver. The nursing staff were equally attentive, kind and funny. Thank you Dr. Ross .....you are a gem of a Dr.

Dr. Ross has been my family GP since he set up his practice in Merritt. Dr. Ross is the most humane doctor that I have ever been lucky enough to know. Early on in our patient/doctor relationship, I was diagnosed with a very serious ongoing chronic illness. Dr. Ross made sure that all specialists and health care people treated me well because he said that he did not want to have me labelled or maligned just because of the illness and because I am First Nations. I trust Dr. Ross with my family needs and he is also the only Dr. that I have found that seriously likes his patients. Can't say enough "good" and "kind" words for him.

I recently relocated to Merritt and am very unhappy with the medical services. This clinic is very old and unsanitary. Old stinky carpets, even in the patient care rooms. Staff are unprofessional - every time I have been in they are talking openly about other patients and often placing judgement . Wait times are excessive and shows the Dr obviously does not respect my time. Very difficult to book an apt and the locum Dr is horrible.
