Dr Smit didn’t help at all with my 2 problems, high blood sugar and stomach pain. He gave me the ppi fir stomach, which helped to alleviate the symptoms, but overall deteriorated the stomach conditions, because stomach acid is required for digestion. When I told him I want to wean myself off ppi, he was not supportive. For the high blood sugar I asked what can I do to lower it preventively, but he said, we’ll wait until you get diabetes and give you the medicine then. He is no longer my family doctor

I am so glad this doctor is now in Vancouver. He really tries to get to the bottom of what ails you and encourages you to be pro-active as well. He knows his stuff, is ready to listen and is open to alternative médecines. The receptionist is welcoming and knowledgeable as well.

First doctor that I've met that actually listens and thinks 'outside the box'. I've never felt rushed or that my questions were trivial. And I've never had problems getting an appointment. The receptionist is really lovely and makes you feel welcome. Highly recommend.

Have only seens him a few times, but find his receptionist to be the friendlist I have ever encountered in the field, and the doctor is present and actually listens. Haven't felt rushed or condescended to. So far so good! Glad to have found them.

I had the worst experience of my life with the doctor at this clinic. I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs and visiting the two other clinics that are close by.
