Definitely the WORST physician that I've ever encountered. Rude, inconsiderate, judgemental, condensing and a narrow minded bigot. Totally lacks any form of bedside manners. I'd rather be treated by a veterinarian than this person.

This doctor is terrible and he inspected my hemorroids deep and i dont know what he did and exacerbated the pain. He is rude. He should be suspended.

Dr. Zegarra is my miracle worker! I had a baby and 6 weeks later came to him after my OBGYN had claimed that I had hemorrhoids but yet nothing they gave me helped. He confirmed what I thought to be true that it was an anal fissure not hemorrhoids. He was very funny and made me feel very comfortable about the situation. He told me my options, surgery being the best....within 2 days I was operated on and painfree for the 1st time in 6 weeks! Thank you Dr. Zegarra and staff!!!! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!!!

After explaining my issues he proceeded, IN MY OPINION, to make statements that I did not feel helpful. He stated that I am the one to blame for my problems as the result of pain medication I take for Degenerative Disc disease, which I know but he then asked if I expected a "magic pill". I explained I felt I was stuck in a catch22 because I have painful degenerative disc disease that will ultimately require surgery (just as my sister and grandmother had); he then said "have the surgery... or I will be giving you a colonoscopy bag... or attach your small intestine to your anus and you will poop 4-5 times per day and how will you like that?" I felt no empathy for my failed health & that it was not within my control. I felt he should know that spinal surgery never guarantees a pain free life. I felt he took far too much liberty for this being our very 1st meeting; just a consultation. Google search revealed that other's had felt this doctor to have a very poor bedside manner.
