Dr Lapp did surgery of a knee replacement and since then I would never know I had a replacement. Not one minute of pain and it healed without ever going back to him. That was 15 years ago. He is a wonderful doctor, very professional and very wise and caring.

This review is long overdue. I met Dr. Lapp after being a pedestrian a hit and run in October 1990. Dr. Lapp became my best friend after many surgeries. He is the reason I am able to walk today even although, at the time, it seemed a long slow process. Dr. Lapp is a compassionate, caring professional who will be greatly missed after his retirement. Enjoy life, Dr. Lapp, you were wonderful when you cared for me. I can never thank you enough for what you did for me.

This review is for a surgery that almost happened 15 years ago. I was new in town when my achilles tendons completely ruptured during dance class. Dr. Lapp was the Ortho on call for Royal Jubilee that night. He candidly told me that the body was very good at healing itself and recommended casting and then an AirCast (then brand new and $400). He said he was willing to do surgery to rejoin the tendon, but that it was essentially him doing embroidery and the body would heal it better on its on if casted. My dance mentors agreed with his words, they all had known dancers that never danced again after achilles surgery. I went with the casting and continued to dance a good number of years more. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lapp, a gentle hearted, experienced and wise orthopaedic surgeon. Victoria is lucky to have him practising.

Dr. Lapp reconstructed both my legs after a motorcycle accident in 1987. Without his skill and dedication I may have never walked again. Well done Ralph!! P.S. Now I need my Shoulder fixed. Cheers! David

Was very helpful, meet me and setup an MRI the same day, and meet me after the MRI at the hospital. Arranged to have my knee surgery the next day! Almost unheard of, but he made it happen!! Looking back know after 7 several years, it was a easy experience considering the amount of pain I was in.

I too have always been impressed by Lapp. I've seen him a few times over the years for different things and he has always been very thorough, helpful and professional. My only minor complaint is that he is quite brisk so if you go there, expect that.

Well we went with an old knee injury that needed attention and were told, after a cursory exam, that a spinal operation might be required... There are no spinal issues so where did that come from? Don't call us, we will not call you!
