I needed trimalleolar surgery (plate and pins). Dr. Weatherhead was the surgeon who was on duty and did an awesome job. Followup visits have been productive, and accurate.

My son had a growth arrest in his arm after a surgeon in the Duncan hospital incorrectly set his arm after it broke. As a result his arm stopped growing and we were told that there was only a 25% chance that it could be fixed and start growing again. Otherwise he’d be stuck with a 9 year old sized forearm forever. We saw Dr Weatherhead and he was incredibly informative, kind, and compassionate about the situation and thoroughly explained the procedure he would be doing. My son is now a healthy almost 15 year who plays football and has a normal arm thanks to Dr Weatherhead. I would recommend him time and time again and I’m so thankful he was able to help my son.

Maimed my child. Next to zero after-care once his surgery went wrong. If I could assess him negative ratings, there wouldn't a number low enough to reflect how little I could rate this Dr.

Dr. Weatherhead is very thorough and is very clear and concise when reviewing your case. He took the time to explain what my particular situation was and how he intended to surgically repair my comminuted olecranon fracture (shattered elbow!) using ORIF surgery. Less than 12 hours after he was consulted about my case via the ER department at Victoria General Hospital he called me at home on Saturday morning and had me check in for surgery the next afternoon. Follow up appointments for post surgical x-rays we're done regularly to ensure proper bone alignment and healing and he took the time to update me on my progress as well as what activities I could begin to do and when!

I've enjoyed reading these positive comments about Dr. Brent Weatherhead. I am equally grateful for his confident manner, knowledge and expertise.

Dr. Weatherhead repaired my distal biceps rupture three months ago. He gave me confidence that I could return to normal use of my arm, and that he would be there if needed throughout my recovery.

In my case, although rehabilitation does take time and careful use of the limb, I have had no issues at all. For anyone needing this surgery, I recommend taking the required care to enable uninterrupted recovery.

I am very grateful for Dr. Weatherhead's skill and for returning my arm to being as good as ever.

I highly recommend Dr. Weatherhead, I had life altering injuries as the result of a high trauma accident. Left broken wrist and right broken elbow, both open breaks, he and his team assisted in saving my life as well as my limbs and have continued to show me support. Rockstar.

Dr Weatherhead has the most pleasant demeanour. Personable, approachable, knowledgeable, explained my surgery clearly and concisely. He’s just a wonderful human.
