I have undergone two procedures with Dr Okrainec in the past month. Very reserved but a wealth of knowledge and amazing surgical skills. This fine Dr saved my life on two occasions for being very thorough during his interviews and examinations. During two surgeries Dr Okrainec had an amazing team of Drs and Nurses while under his care. Also I can't say enough about his office AdmiistratorMassi. Massi made both my procedures very informative and
reassuring through these stressful moments.
I would not hesitate to recommend this fine Dr or have any further life altering procedures with this great Dr.

Did my bariatric surgery and was so amazing. Introduced himself, signed my abdominal area, was very pleasant and courteous. Beside manner was amazing also. No bleeding or any kind of complications after surgery.

Dr. Okranic and his staff are absolutely amazing. He is extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable in his field. My first contact was with his clinical assistant, Massy, who responded quickly to my voicemail and super friendly. If I could rate Dr Okranic and his staff higher than 5 stars, I would as my surgery was successful and I'm feeling great!

Dr. Okrainec’s staff was absolutely amazing! Starting with my communication with Massy, Massy always returned emails and calls and always kept me in the loop and informed. Dealing with Dr. Okrainec, he gave me all of the pros and cons for my surgery, considering my underlying issues and he was very sympathetic to my situation (hernia for 18 months). The surgery, from the moment I got there, was a good experience and I was well taken care of and felt very comfortable. 5 stars for Dr. Okrainec, his staff and everyone at Toronto Western Hospital. The surgery has been a huge success, 3 weeks in and no pain or infection! Thank you to all!!

Absolutely the best general surgeon I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He performed my gastric bypass surgery in 2016, numerous endoscopy procedures, revision surgery for my ulcer and tomorrow he will be performing my colonoscopy god help me I’m so scared. i had a massive belly button hernia that had got bigger and bigger over at about 15 years. I should never have waited so long before getting it fixed.. Dr Okrainec and his team did an excellent job patching me up though recovering from the surgery was painful
