I had the same terrible experience as many of these ratings. He said to me - you can't hear, I don't know why, and this is life, goodbye. DO NOT waste your time with this ENT.

He doesn’t care about his patients.
His clinic staff at Richmond rd are useless and don’t expect them to return your urgent calls.
Find another ENT specialist who cares about his patients professionally.

Doctor Chau is the best ENT I’ve seen, I’ve seen most of the ENTs in Calgary and he’s been the most helpful, he tells you how it is doesn’t sugar coat it like a lot of doctors do. He comes up with the best methods and solutions available for your condition. His receptionist is a gem always calls to remind you of your appointments, and if you call with concerns on your condition she takes the time to reach out to Dr. Chau to discuss your concerns. I’ve experienced nothing but excellence from this clinic! 5 stars!

Dr. Chau is is not helpful on determining a cause or solution as to how I developed my issue with hearing. He simply stated this is what you have - not sure how you got it, but there you have it … goodbye. I truly believe I was misdiagnosed, his explanation or lack thereof did not make sense. He didn’t take the time time figure out the possible ‘why’ or ‘how.’ I will not be going back to him, rather I will find another ENT.

I hate liars , Dr Chau is a liar. I can’t trust a “doctor” that is a liar. If he is indeed a doctor he did NOT pass school by much. His people skills are abysmal. Save your time in this life and go to a REAL doctor.

GO ELSEWHERE!! This person is a horrible example of a doctor. He is. Obviously not competent,He enjoys talking about himself and likes to drop names while chatting about himself. . He has a huge ego that is terrible and upsetting. This IS my experience with this person. What do they call the lowest graduate with the biggest ego in Doctor school? a doctor. . What a sorry example. Go elsewhere.

I've had several procedures with Dr. Chau. He is nothing short of excellent, takes the time to explain things and answer my questions also has an excellent bedside manner. His staff (Nicola) is on top of everything and precise in her communications. Would highly recommend Dr Chau
