I had Dr. KOO do a total knee replacement 12 yes ago with great success. I had my intake with Glen in early June last year ( 23) it has been now 6 months and not heard a word from Dr. Koo,s office to have a consultation with him to replace my other knee. I understand he is a very busy Surgeon and excellent at what he does., that is why I will not consider any other surgeon for this surgery, but feel 6 months waiting for even a consultation has made me think in this time I have slipped threw this medical cracks. I do keep calling and understand they are very busy but 7 months is a long time

Had half of my shoulder replaced on the 25th of October. Very pleased with the work. Down time will be much shorter than foretold. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I wasn't sure what they thought of me at the hospital the day of as I hadn't slept the night before. They were very understanding at my passing out. Ty Dr koo

I am two days post op for left hip replacement. I am over the moon so far with the results. Pain free and off the narcotic pain meds in two days. Ditched the crutches today and I am hobbling around the house with a cane. Dr Koo was very helpful and explained how it would go in language I could understand. I sometimes had trouble getting through on the phone to his receptionist but messages did get through when needed. I highly recommend Dr Koo as a surgeon.

I haven’t had my surgery yet. It’s for a chronic shoulder injury. It constantly dislocates. I had a bad snowboarding accident, and have to sleep with a sling on so I don’t throw my shoulder out in my sleep (which I don’t get much of because of the sling)

I was assigned Dr Olivia Cheng and she seems all over the place. One time I’d have a respectful (but not very productive) talk about surgery, the next time she comes flying in wearing street cloths not even knowing where we left off. The last time I saw her she just came in with an in-turn and paced around saying “I guess we should start some physio”. Like what? She’s very unprofessional and shouldn’t be in practice. One time my bone is chipped the next it’s not etc etc. Then I came up from Toronto to see her and her secretary admitted her and her husband decided to go on a vacation out of nowhere. No call or anything. ANYWAYS I’m going to have surgery with Dr. KOO. He was very very thorough in explaining my injury and now I finally understand what’s wrong and how he will fix it.

He accomplished explaining the problem in terms I can understand and gave me his full attention. He gave me three choices about which type of surgery he can do and how it will help. I’m going to pick the one he favoured. Anyways he got this all done and talked about when I can book for etc. with a few hundred precise words. He wasn’t rushed. He is just efficient. And great answers to my concerns too.

Dr Cheng couldn’t do this in two years. I believe she loves the money, but doesn’t give a damn about you. She sure likes to wear her designer clothing while half listening to you, and giving snappy answers. First thing I did after our first meeting was go to the vape shop. The guy there said he has a lawsuit against her because she told him his knees are fine. Meanwhile he was doing severe damage to them and now has trouble with mobility etc. I have zero confidence in her and 99% in KOO. I can’t wait to get this surgery done with finally.

I believe Dr. Cheng is dangerous to your well being. She loves the money….. hates the job I think. Stay away. You never know which version of her you will get on any given day. I was afraid of having surgery with her.

I’ll update you guys after my shoulder surgery.

I’ve had him for years. He has scooped both my knees and repaired a tear in my shoulder years ago. I still see him for my Monovisc shots for my osteoarthritis in both knees. He is awesome!!!
