He ruined my health misdiagnosed and used RAI for treatment has caused permanent damage to my health. As a result, my GI is completely damaged and I have severe motility problems. At least 75% of my gut is dead. He insisted on thyroidectomy which contributed to additional long term problems that have been difficult to regulate. The quality of my life and health has been butchered with excessive debilitating symptoms. It's been almost 2 decades and everyday is struggle. I am nowhere near the 100% recovery nor improvement Dr. Becker assured me I'd be by listening to him.

This doctor is amazing. He really listens and examines you. His bedside manner is exceptional and more importantly, he can really change your life. I am a physician and was struggling with Graves disease and had seen other endocrinologists, but only Dr. Becker was able to help stabilize my condition, and he did so very quickly. I highly recommend him.

He is not bad. But these reviews are a bit too rosy to be believed. He prescribed Cytomel to me when I had hyperthyroidism (hot nodule) . It only made the hyperthyroidism worse. I subsequently went to Orlo Clark, the most awesome Endocrine Surgeon who immediately knew I had a hot nodule scheduled me for surgery to remove it. If it wasn't for Dr. Clark, I may not be alive today.

I feel SO fortunate that we found Dr. Becker. It took 3 mos. for our appt. to finally come and we could hardly wait. My daughter was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 10 yrs ago when she was 8. We have been to SO many doctors, I can't begin to remember. NO ONE including endocrinologists would help. Her TSH would be within "normal limits" and therefore that was that with her levoxyl--even though she was cold ALL of the time and has lost 1/3 of a beautiful head of hair over the last 3 years. We finally got to see Dr. Becker and in the first FIVE mins, we learned so much. I just can't wait to see what the next few months with him will bring about! We did have to wait in the waiting room for quite a while, but we weren' t rushed when it was our turn either! I agree that he is VERY expensive, but to finally find the help we need, every cent will be worth it.

This man saved my life, after being misdiagnosed/undiagnosed by 4 other endocrinologists. He really listens to you and ALL your symptoms, hears what you are saying, and above all is as compassionate as you could ever ask for. I cannot recommend him enough. Very expensive and inconvenient, but worth it.

Absolutely the most wonderful doctor. So knowledgeable, and listens carefully to the patient in order to make diagnosis and treatment plan. He is superlatively smart.

Dr. Becker has a skill many doctors lack, he listens to your symptoms and how you are feeling. He is extremely knowledgeable about thyroid disease and treats you with compassion. This doctor turned my life around by correctly diagnosing my thyroid disease and treating it so I could enjoy life again.

Dr. Becker is expensive and inconvenient but well worth it. His knowledge about health in general and how it relates to endocrine dysfunction is incredible. His office partner, Dr. Eric Buxton is also fantastic.

Very expensive, but this is one the the nation's top rated endocrinologists. Former First Lady, Barbara Bush is his patient.
