My family physician was away so I saw Dr. Lei instead. He was very insensitive after a family tragedy. I would not recommend him and wish to not talk to him again.

I have been among Dr.Lei’s regular patients for more than thirty years, and in all that time, through regular check-ups to many other matters serious to minor, I have always found him to be attentive, sensible, and effective. ( nor can I even imagine him ever being “rude”) - I can only assume that most of these negative “reviews” are from trolls - and as for the others, well, patients have to be sensible too!

Saw this man a few weeks ago. Does not know what he is talking about. Very rude and can't believe he is allowed to work. Do not go to see this man. Does NOT listen

I've been going to Doctor Lei since the '80s, and he hasn't steered me wrong so far. I'm old and sick now and mostly go to specialists but Dr. Lei still sees me for general health issues and does an outstanding job coordinating my health care.
I asked him recently why his reviews here are so overwhelmingly bad. He tells me that he isn't very popular with the local U of T students who go to his walk-in clinic expecting an automatic note from him to get extensions on his assignments.

The worst doctor I have had an opportunity to talk to as he just wants to finish the session and not answer a single question. The worst careless attitude. Who gave this person a degree and is letting him practice medicine. Shame on him as a doctor.

Not helpful with his assessment, very short in his responses not providing any detail or colour around his diagnosis. Then said he would write a prescription and send it to my pharmacy. I got to the pharmacy the next day - no prescription on file. I called the doctors office, and they said there is no prescription mentioned in my file. Completely unreliable, unprofessional, and unhelpful. If you don't want to be talking to patients, don't be a doctor.
