DR B replaced hip number one in 2021 and I am hoping to have the second replaced soon. Replacing the first hip changed my life and I healed in less than 6 weeks. He's a great guy who will spend the time to talk with you and answer your questions.

Very rude, terrible bedside manner and completely botched diagnosing an injury that lead to months of wasted time and pain. Witnessed him make a young child cry and give him no empathy whatsoever when he was simply worried about getting a cast removed for a broken arm. Complete j*rk

Dr Blastorah is an amazing surgeon and a really nice person. He replaced my knee and it’s great. I’ll soon have to get a hip replacement and he’s my guy. Very courteous staff as well.

Dr Blastorah is a gem. He is kind, informative and has awesome bedside manners. He did 2 knee surgeries on me with absolutely no complications. Back in 2005 he rebuilt my ankle when no other doctor would touch it. He did an incredible job.

I had a procedure done as a result of an equestrian accident & Dr Blastorah repaired my broken lower left leg. It was my first time experiencing something like this in the hospital & he took time to answer any questions I had as well as put me at ease. The OR nurses & anesthesiologist were all AMAZING & I want them all to know this!!!

Warning! Warning! Warning! Do not use this surgeon! He failed my mother’s hip surgery not once, but twice! Finally he gave up and sent her to Mount Sinai for another doctor to perform a THIRD surgery to fix his mess. Blastorah had almost 8 months to prepare for my mother’s surgery and determine that she had very little muscle mass, yet he chose to use standard equipment. He feared the equipment wouldn’t hold but he used it anyway. When it failed, he told me he’d use the more expensive rotary cuff. His incompetence resulted in my mother spending 6 months in 3 different hospitals until her death. I was with her through it all. Doctor Blastorah never told me that there’s a 50% mortality rate for patients 80 and over. This statistic was brought to my attention by staff at Mount Sinai. Had he told me, my mother would never have had the surgery. I feel deeply that she would be alive today. Blastorah has no idea how his mistakes have forever impacted the lives of my family. I rate this doctor ZERO stars but the system won’t take less than one.
