I felt very let down by docter. I was referred by my G.P. and had a letter from the neurologist and also the results of a brain spect. He was not interested in helping me , Did not have any belief in the spect or what my neurologist derived from the scan. Absolutely no empathy from this docter. He did not want anything to do with me and clearly stated there would be no follow up.

Dr Cowan had no time for me. He was disinterested in anything I had to say. He badgered me on anything I said
I would not recommend this doctor for any elderley person looking for geriactric guidance.

He is an excellent Doctor, very patient and did not rush us. Answered all our questions. Very respectful.

This doctor knows his stuff. My sense is that he could have been a specialist in any area of medicine. That he selected geriatrics is a bonus to his clients. Dr. Cowan is down to earth and realistic about the issues facing the elderly and he treats his patients accordingly and with common sense. Kudos to Dr. Cowan!

Dr. Cowan is an excellent physician, very kind to his patients and willing to listen to both patient and family and addresses their concerns. My Mom loved this doctor, he was a great help to us and my mother's condition greatly improved under his care.

He did talk down to me. Refused to focus his thinking on my problem. Just wanted to listen to what he thought was correct. Said he could not help me. Wasn't interested in anything other than clinical inputs. Did not help me at all.

Dr Cowan is the most incredible, respectful, kind and genuinely caring doctor I have ever met. He clearly cares for his patients and his chosen specialty. You will never find a more dedicated doctor who takes his time, and is thoughtful and honest when speaking to his patients/families and presents medical information including bad news in a kind and helpful way.
