Zero bedside manner. Impatient, cranky. Seems to be a competent surgeon, which I suppose is the important thing.. but he could pretend to care. Also his nurse was just as miserable.

I count myself extremely fortunate to have been referred to Rendall. Injured my left knee during a long rigorous hike in the Sierra Madres that swelled up like a balloon and kept me on crutches for many months. My GP, Dr Herget referred me to Dr Rendall who actually call while I was out of the country and discussed the issue and possible prognosis at great length. He confirmed he would meet with me immediately upon returning to Calgary, which he did. Rendall went through all possible scenarios explaining each in detail. He was never rushed - in fact our appointment lasted nearly one whole hour. I was more than impressed and went with his recommendations. I'm more than satisfied I did. His staff are great, very efficient as well!

Dr Rendall is a combination of a kind person, a professional, a great communicator and listener and a knowledgeable and highly skilled surgeon. This is everything you want in a surgeon as rehabilitation from surgery is both physical and mental. Dr. Rendall, the nurse case manager, the rehabilitation team, and office staff at the Alberta Hip and Knee Clinic, with their caring and informative manner, all helped to support my journey towards a better quality of life. Dr. Rendall’s expertise as a surgeon became evident to me, in that after receiving two full knee replacements my knees feel normal and pain free once again. I can walk anywhere for long periods of time and no longer take pain mediation to walk or stand. I feel better than I have for many years, and have a new hope in life as I resume normal activities and try new ones. Thank you!

Had a surgery with him on my shoulder 3 years ago. I was told 85-95% recovery rate. 3 years later I'm barley at %40 and after visiting him due to concerns and pain he said it's more of a social visit and there's nothing he can do. His staff doesnt follow up. He doesn't care how you feel. I wait or him for 3 hours with an appointment only for him to see me for 20 seconds. I wouldn't recommend him in any way. Now my shoulder is disabled. I wish i would have done my research but I trusted these comments. Look for other surgeons.

Dr Rendall is an amazing surgeon. I started my journey with him 4 years ago and he has been amazing. As of March I will have had 2 full knee replacements and I wouldn't trust anyone else like I trust him and his staff. They are all amazing

Had total knee replacement in January and it was a total success. They had me up the very same day, to use washroom of course, and the care and attention was excellent. I actually walked with a cane in too work 9 days later. Now I know that is not the normal, and recovery can take a lot longer for some people, but it is 4 months now and have not had any problems. You do need to push yourself for the first few weeks and do the exercises, but I found my daily walking and being careful was the best way to get back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Rendall.

He is an excellent doctor, kind and caring. Listens to your concerns and remembers you even though it was 10 months between visits with covid. Both my knees feel well.

This review is long overdue.
Dr Rendall is a great person and an even better orthopod!
After eons of distance running and blowing both knees, Dr Rendal did two pelica (?)procedures and I’m good
as new.... my only complaint
is that J am unable to run a 4min mile
