An absolutely fantastic Doctor and human. His knowledge and ability to relate to the patient (me) was completely on point. He has a great sense of humour and ability to calm and person's anxiety. If I had an 2nd prostate, I'd see him again.

I began my journey with Dr. Bobbi SHAYGEN some 7+ years ago result of a referral by my family doc, Dr. R. Ohson.
Post tests I went through at the time, we met to discover the results: bladder cancer.

I was totally taken with how he presented his message of Pandora’s box being opened!
I believe during that meeting, he had figured me out. Just straight goods type, I appreciated that.

His message was straight forward, yet blended with “compassion” & caring.
I don’t believe I am special, but he made feel I was.
The only special person during the meeting was “Him” the Man himself: you see he saved my life. I won the lottery with HIM!

I would be remiss if I did not recognize the very fact, this MAN does this on a daily basis! God Bless HIM!

October 30, 2023 will mark 5 years of my diagnosis of metastisized prostate cancer with Dr. Shayegan. It was deemed "non-opoerable" and it was distressing to hear.
BUT----"Bobby" recommended a course of treatment that was reasonably new at the time and it has held me stable for 5 years. He was supportive from the get-go. I continue with that treatment plan and have office visits every 3 months.
He has always been polite & punctual. He has been a source of support through the battle that my wife and I & my family face.
A true professional---an expert in his field and a nice guy to boot. As an added bonus---great office staff.

Dr. Shayegan found a G.I.S.T. in my stomach during an MRI for a prostrate issue I had. A find that literally saved my life as it was low grade and in early stage. These are rarely found before you have real problems. Can not say enough positive about this man.

Doctor Shayegan performed a radical prostatectomy on me in 2016, using the da Vinci robot. My experience was excellent - except for his telling me, “we got all of it”, and the surgery was, “nerve sparing.” Wrong on both counts. Following the prostatectomy, I was left with erectile dysfunction. Further, my prostate cancer recurred in 2022. I now understand that a surgeon cannot warrant that a patient will not have a recurrence of prostate cancer (a sizeable percentage do), or that erectile nerves have not been affected by the surgery (they frequently are). Dr. Shayegan should avoid making pronouncements to his patients that are not supported by medical literature.

Dr.Shayegan, has truly saved my life. I was diagnosed with bladder cancer 5 years ago. With treatment on BCG, the decision was made to have radical cystectomy , Dr, Shayegan and his team saved my life, I am now cancer free, words cannot explain his empathy, his dedication to me, his over all dedication to his practice. Thank you so much for being the Dr. That you are, congratulations to your new position, they chose the perfect man for the job!!. Dr. Shayegan is an excellent all round physician. With his initial assessment, surgical skills, and communication skills, he made my husband’s experience with prostate cancer less stressful. And he is funny! He also suggested pelvic physiotherapy at Knewlife which has been very valuable.

Dr Shayegan is a great doctor! My whole family is so grateful to him for saving my husband's life. Dr. Shayegan is an amazing surgeon on the top of his field and yet, he’s very compassionte and listens to your concerns. His staff is also very kind and diligent. Highly recommended.
