Although Dr. Grant tends to runs late, she is worth seeing as she is genuine and means very well. She has even made the effort as to come out into the waiting room to apologize when the appointment is running late, as the adolescent med clinic in general is very busy. If you come into the appointment with an open mind and you are up front with your situation she is wonderful to talk to and is very personable, however I feel as though some people may be intimidated by her as she is a generally a very confident personality. But once you open up to her she is absolutely lovely and truly cares about making things better for you by helping you to reach solid goals and solutions. Dr. Grant sometimes jumps to conclusions but is very apologetic if she has offended you in any way, shape, or form. The best thing you can do is act calm and civil with her and in return she will be calm and civil to you. If you are argumentative and get your back up then she will take charge, and the traits pointed out in other reviews come out, but in that situation can you really blame her? No, as a professional in her field she is entitled to some respect.
In short, Dr. Grant is a wonderful doctor if you let her be and is terribly underrated and overly scrutinized, but then again so is Beyonce, so all in all your own attitude will greatly affect your experience here.

Dr. Grant is below mediocre, although the other staff in the clinic is consistently helpful and supportive she arrives to appointments late, rushes through and is very impersonal to her patients. I feel extremely uncomfortable providing her with information as she always gives a judgmental vibe. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

I am currently in treatment at her office and certainly am not having the best time. The other staff (social worker, resident doctor) is great but she seems to believe that she knows everything about you. Quite rude, tends to cut you off and intimidating. She gets the job done but not with pleasant experience.

I've dealt with Dr. Grant for a number of years. She is rude, egotistical and definitely not open to listening to the needs of my family. She wasn't willing to work in unity with me and she did not address my symptoms accordingly. Dr. Grant is condescending, and I didn't like the way she addressed me. She was unprofessional much of the time, and I felt like she was solely in it for the money. I feel that every time I met with Dr. Grant, she put my own needs and concerns aside and I was not given individual treatment at all. She suggested medications that I did not feel comfortable taking and was quite forceful. She did not run any diagnostic tests asides from basic bloodwork and was unwilling to refer me to another specialist. I hope to never see her again.

Seems to go by statistics and not by unique cases of individuals. Didn't listen whatsoever, but made assumptions. Somewhat unprofessional as well. Was not a pleasure whatsoever, the whole experience was actually quite appalling. Would not recommend her to anyone.

My daughter has a physical illness (chronic) which has been diagnosed. We were sent to see Dr. Grant after my daughter's neurologist requested she go attend physiotherapy sessions for pain management. I still don't know why we were sent there knowingly by our family doctor who was well aware we were to see a physiotherapist, but absolutely appalled by this woman who presents herself as someone who cares about the mental health/well-being of children. My 12 year od daughter comes from a very loving home, yet she felt compelled to take her into a room (without my permission)and interrogate her about my lifestyle (I'm a devoted single parent, mental and physical health is most important in our life, and we have a healthy happy and loving relationship). Dr. Grant didn't take anytime to listen to me, but made several assumptions. It's frightening to say the least that she has been recognized for her work. I can't imagine how many lives she has been allowed to ruin.
