What a great Doctor! So helpful and honestly concerned. His receptionist leaves much to be desired. Doors locked, gives wrong date for appointment and just plain rude. But the Doctor is the one I came to see and he is brilliant. Thank you for all your help after my brain surgery.

Careful to all with this doctor, if he can't sort out what is going on he will assume you need need mental care ... it is so wrong that with promises of referrals to a better specialist he would do this but he gets frustrated & gives up!

Dr. Vortel has been one of my doctors for my 2 admissions to Richmond Hospital and he has been amazing helping me get better. He is knowledgable, caring and extremely professional. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor!

I'm a new patient to Dr. Vortel's clinic in Richmond. Visiting Dr. Vortel once and several phone conversations with Dr. Vortel and his receptionist Ms.Dory Yang regarding about transferring my medicial records from other clinic, etc. I highly respect their responsible and professional clinical manner. They've earned my full score!

I was referred to Dr Vortel at Richmond General Hospital in 2014. He is highly professional in everything he does. He is always kind and takes time to explain what he is doing and why in language his patients can understand. I was especially pleased to note how carefully he took my history and how he used the information to find the medication that was most likely to work.
