We have been taking our son to Dr. Rosenfeld since he was 3 days old (he is now 8yrs old). We have put up with her staff because she has been a wonderful doctor for our son. Yesterday was the last straw! We have had countless issues with her staff since way back and it has progressed to the point that we have to unfortunately no longer have Dr. Rosenfeld as our sons Pediatrician. This is a very sad day. I have tried on several accounts (over MANY years) to over look the staff's atrocious, condescending, rude, and extreme harsh judgment towards us of how and what we should do with our child (the San Marcos, CA receptionist had no trouble letting me know this often, especially over the phone). I thought "Forever" that it was just I who was receiving this unbelievable treatment and wondering "Why?", "What have I done?". The office of your child's Dr. should be caring and set a presence of reassurance because most of the visits are about your child's welfare and NOTHING else matters to you but your child and the health of your child. Here we have come to find out over the years talking with other parents that they have experienced the same things we have and most of them have quit the practice due to the horrible treatment from the staff. We were even told by teachers at our sons school that they quit the practice (years ago, their kids being in their twenties now) because of the staff. I have over looked several issues with the staff because I trusted and appreciated Dr. Rosenfeld's treatment of our son (with my husband telling me to quit the practice numerous times over the years). Well, I am now completely over dealing with the awful behavior of the San Marcos, CA office. I am tired of battling with the receptionist all the time over issues that are of NONE of her concern. I have even spoke with Dr. Rosenfeld about this and she assured me it would not occur again. This is not the issue. Now I just deal with an even more bitter, short and rude receptionist. It is ALL about our son and his well being. Not me and the juvenile debates/ arguments, and unprofessionalism of her receptionist I have had to endure to have our son see Dr. Rosenfeld. I am heart broken to have to write this comment and no longer have Dr. Rosenfeld as our sons Pediatrician but we are finished. Our son is our number one priority and this has been too stressful to deal with ANY more. We are truly crushed!!!!!!

Dr Rosenfeld has cared for my children for the last 10+ years. I have referred friends to her and always have had a positive experience dealing with her and her staff. I believe she has demonstrated the utmost care to my children and my family as a whole. My family has been through a lot over the last 10 years and she cares enough to always ask how things are going; not only with our health but also our lives. She amazes me, she cares for so many but takes the time to really get to know her patients and understand the circumstances that they are coming from. My children and I very much appreciate her professionalism, sense of humor and candor. I always feel as though I am waiting to see an old friend that just happens to be a Dr. She listens, responds and engages in the care my children. Even when the office is busy and there is a wait to see her... she is ALWAYS worth the wait. Thank you, thank you Dr Gina Rosenfeld!!!

I do not feel this doctor was very helpful. I had my taken my son to his primary med group regarding ocd/anxiety issues where we received excellent suggestions on how to help him. My ex asked that we take him to Dr. Rosenfeld for a second opinion. I feel she completely downplayed what my son was going through and did not even perform a through examination. She never asked us if mental health issues run in our family, she asked no historical questions at all really. My son asked me to get him help, he wanted to try at the very least Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Dr. Rosenfeld said she didn't even know what that was! She was very nice and energetic but we certainly did not get the help I feel was needed and the help my son requested. I asked her several times if she thought Dylan would benefit from some therapy but do not feel that she really listened as her only suggestion was to wait and see if his symptoms decreased when school and sports started.

Best Doctor you could ever have for your child. She is Awesome with attention to details, very cautious to make sure your child is taken care of to the highest standards. She Will do ALL that she can if your child has a disability like my child. She has been the best Doctor I have ever had the experience of meeting. I would recommend her for any child, I wish she took care of Adults too!

Dr Rosenfeld was recommended to us before our first child was born. She has been a valuable asset to us while we navigated the first year of parenthood. She is always helpful, knowledgeable, and as a bonus, she's always happy and smiling. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Rosenfeld is extremely helpful and is very knowledgeable. She is very good with my kids and explained my sons diagnosis very well in a way he comprehend.

Dr. Gina has been our boys pediatrician for 16 years. Her caring and kind demeanor are striking when you see her. My wife and I highly recommend her to all.
