Dr. Chiavaro is now Retired! :(

Dr. Chiavaro was also my Pediatrician when I was a child and then became my Children's Pediatrician. Sad to see him go. Wish him all the best, however now all his patients are stuck choosing from the good, the bad and the ugly!

Was my doctor from the day I was born. I dont see him anymore, but I am 29 years old ; so he did something right. My entire childhood was spent in a hospital, and he was there to be a familar face. One new years eve , on his way to a party he decided to stop in and check on me. He was wearing a nice suit , and thought I looked well enough to go home the next day, until he picked me up and I got sick all over his shoes. He just said " maybe not tomorrow", and began to laugh with my parents. He is a great man, and a great doctor.

Dr. Chiavaro is our current Pediatrician for all our children. But he is retiring soon. I am with a heavy heart to see him close his practice but I am excited to see him have time for himself and enjoy the outside clinic things he enjoys doing. He is a great doctor and have always looked after my children really well. My children are sad to see him retire because they don't want him to retire....that's how great he is with children. We love him and his assistant Maria! We hope you enjoy your retirement Dr. Chiavaro and gets to travel everywhere you want to! It will be hard to fill his shoes. He is one of the few doctors left who really knows his stuff. We will miss him tremendously!

My 2 children have gone to Dr. Chiavaro over the last 20 years. He is very experienced but it is true that he does basically rush you out the door within 5 minutes. Maria is nice but she does need some customer service skills in answering phones. I recall one time it took me at least 20-25 calls and she never picked up! I advised that doctor and he brushed it off like I was crazy. Ridiculous!!!!
At the end of the day I wish him all the best. Good luck Maria finding a job with those skill sets.

Alright a very experienced doctor as he is probably near retirement. He is kind but definitely very very rushed !!! We are usually in and out within less than 5 minutes. As a first time mom I have many questions - once he is done he just rushes out of the room .

Dr.Chiavaro is great! He is the doctor for all 3 of my children. He is experienced and great at explaining things to detail to help you understand! Maria, his secretary is great...but is horrible at answering the phone. I can call about 6-7 times before the phone ever gets picked up.

He is my 5 kids doctor. He pays good attention to detail. Explains things in terms I understand. I feel 100% comfortable with my children under his care. His secretary Maria is also a friendly and knowledgeable woman
