I cannot thank Dr Donaldson and the team at the Terrace Eye Centre enough for managing my detached retina. They were very caring, attentive, professional and superstars in what they do. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Donaldson for anyone needing this surgery.

Hubby was referred to Dr Mark Donaldson for a second opinion, as he had a potentially life changing decision to make. We found Dr Donaldson to be attentive, caring, extremely knowledgeable and after having a stressful week, his information helped put our minds at rest after just 15 minutes. He clearly has a passion for his work and his patients matter. He took the time to thoroughly explain the situation, giving all options available and the risks involved. We are so grateful for his simple explanations to a difficult problem. Thoroughly recommend him. The blonde lady who took all details and performed the examinations before we met with Dr Donaldson was a little treasure too. Thank you Dr Donaldson, from the both of us.

I had a severe detached retina and was referred to Dr Mark Donaldson by the PA Hospital Eye Clinic for urgent eye surgery which could not be completed by the hospital immediately. I was taken to see Mark immediately and his calm and reassuring nature gave me great relief that he could fix my fading vision. Within 2 hours I was admitted to the Qld Eye Hospital where he completed a complex surgery on my eye and restored my vision. My wife and I could not praise him and his staff highly enough. After surgery, he gave me his mobile phone number and told me that I could contact him 24/7 if I had any concerns with my vision, even if it was 2am on a Sunday morning (in his words). How many doctors tell you that?? Would recommend him to anybody.

Dr. Mark Donaldson picked up the slack after a confronting, stressful and unhelpful consultation that I had with another Opthalmologist at another clinic. My visit was diagnostic in nature and I found Mark to be calm, attentive and reassuring. He took the time to explain what he was looking at to me and he is clearly very knowledgeable in his field. I will be recommending him to others.

Cannot fault my experience with this doctor. His chair-side manner is excellent, informative and reassuring. His laser treatment to secure a large flap in my retina was calm and immediate. I would recommend Dr Donaldson.

Wonderful Doctor! My husband had a detached retina in his right eye and macular had come away,
