My recent visit was generally very positive until I learnt that I had paid $160 when MSP can now be billed for Dr Kendler’s visit and DXA scan. Having worked for 14 years as a receptionist in a physio clinic, it was my job to have all paper work in order before the patient showed up. I was never told MSP can once again be billed(gov’t did cover scans a number of years back), never told there was a new machine but was told fee now was $160 (2 yrs ago it was $88) and WAS told I needed a referral to bill MSP. Well you don’t get an appointment in that office without a referral so not sure what that was about. I requested my money back and was told the next day I could have a telephone app’t in July to talk to Dr. Kendler about it. I’m guessing he’ll be out of town or on vacation. We will see. But just a heads up…don’t pay…MSP can be billed!

Never got to go to an appointment with Dr Kendler; as I did not receive a call. Called the office after waiting a month and half. The receptionist is verbally abusive; basically said she would have called if she had received it, she has hundreds of referrals. Asked if I could leave my name, only to have her repeat the same comment, afterwhich she hung up. 3 months later I still have no call back, will seek another referral.

I rate Dr Kendler a full 10!
Humorous, very knowledgable and takes a lot of time to thoroughly explain details to you.
The most unfortunate tie to his practice is his unappreciative receptionist who has a good job and obviously doesn’t appreciate it or hold it in high regard.
She is the most ignorant person I have had the misfortune of having to deal with. She has screamed at me, hung up on me and is totally incompetent. The first time I waited 3 months for an infusion because she sent Innamar my wrong phone number. I called Innamar and got it straightened out. A year later…. Here we go again… 1 1/2 months and no appointment with Innomar. I called her back she yelled at me. “ I already sent for you three times, I will send for you three more times!” Click…. The phone went dead. A week later still no luck!
Sad that people that are supposed to assist and make people feel better, makes them feel like they want to curl up and hide!!
Dr. Kendler I hope you are reading these reviews..believe me…there are many people looking for jobs that would be an asset to your practice instead of a detriment

Dr. Kendler was very professional and I really appreciated getting results from him after the scan. The technician was good.
I went back to Dr Kendler's clinic to hand deliver a letter to him. The receptionist was there, invited me in and was so kind to me. During the time I was there she had to answer the phone and try to explain to patients who obviously did not understand English. Although she speaks English as a Second Language, her English was perfectly clear. I had a very good experience with her.

I was impressed with this doctor as well as his Assistant😀. Both very thorough and knowledgeable. I did like the receptionist I think it would be better if she did not speak so fast I would definitely recommend this Doctor

Lxcy Gxdwin on 8 Dec 2022: She bullying MOA because MOA us Asia. She was verbal abuse and physical abuse to fellow physician. She want free copies after she got inform the fee for copies then she attack staff who has a paper on hand right away. Staff notice her keep distant because not feel safety. She gave a middle finger to physician, staffs. Staff said we will call to police then she ran to attack staff and try to use her pen stab on staff face. Staff yell "call police then she ran away to elavator and yell "I will report the police. She assult physician and staffs. She can liear to people but she should know what us the truth? Healthcare worker always victim of ill mental person

Apalling experience. Dr himself is way past his due date to retire. Instead of giving me the results of the bone density scan done 30 minutes before he kept reading off a 4 year old report from LGH. Refused to give me a copy of the results done that day in his office unless I paid $1 per page. He just stood there and did nothing as his psycho Chinese assistant yelled and cursed me at the top of her. He did nothing after i asked to tell her to stop it was so unbelievable. She kept on and came at me with her fists to hit me!! Never ever never go there folks. He is an old fuddy and she is a nut bar and I should have called the cops after she assaulted me.

This rating is for the RECEPTIONIST as I have not seen the doctor yet. Was just trying to make an appointment after being referred by my GP and had the bad fortune of having to deal with the receptionist who, is abrupt and unprofessional. She must think she is being efficient but, when she doesn't listen and just talk and making incorrect assumptions, she is wasting my time... and hers!

The receptionist shocked me. She was so rude and did not listen. I can told her I had a referral and she spoke over me and kept saying I had to have a referral. She yelled at me. I was stunned. It has happened 3 times with the same receptionist. Dr kendler is awesome. She is shocking.
