Dr Chai and his team are very professional and caring. For over 20 years I have been a patient and have experienced very good care, including in-hospital drop-in visits, when my chrohn's disease was active.
Dr Chai has the respect of the health care community as well as many many patients, including me.

Very good experience. Knowledgeable and explained my questions to my satisfaction. I had a colonoscopy, didn't have medication. Was very interesting. He was very professional and exact. It was a very interesting and educational experience. Trust him explicitly.

Had the worst experience - Arrogant, cuts you off, can't be bothered, apparently patients waste his time. He talks over you so you can't get a word in to tell your symptoms, he's very rushed and I couldn't ever get through my symptoms for him to take my case seriously. Let alone made me chase them for 9 months waiting to even book appointments and procedures to go on a waiting list anyways. You'd think since wait lists are so long and when people are suffering you'd at least get those lined up and not leave a person suffering for months. I guess that's how they make money. Can't be bothered otherwise. I hope my future appointment proves otherwise but the last 5 experiences have not been pleasant.

Treatment of ulcerative colitis and recent Colonoscopy. This doctor placed me on a medication that controls my UC which has recently resulted in a clear colonoscopy. Thank you Dr. Chai.

No bedside manner whatsoever. This is a doctor who bases everything off numbers and doesn't seem to care how poorly you feel if his stats seem good to him. Nice enough man but I wish I had a specialist who listens to the patients concerns as they should.

Dr. Chai is incredibly knowledgeable, sincere, and understanding. He doesn't hold back when it comes to mandating tests, doing check-ins, etc. He explains everything very well and takes his time with your appointment. In addition, he demonstrates compassion and also ensures that you are comfortable.

Dr Chai is very business like in his dealings with both me and my son. I very much appreciate his knowledge and care. I want a Dr that tell us like it is and finds the solution to our problem. Several years ago he saved our sons life and now he is bac to working full time and has a family and he is healthy.

Dr. Chair is the worst specialist I have been to. What a degrading humiliating experience. He is arrogant, Inconsiderate of my concerns, did not give me my test results after asking 2 time. I had a very bad 3 months with constant diarehea, (actual blowouts) for 3 straight months, I started self diagnosing myself as me next visit far off. I got Critical Care Probiotics (which eventually helped greatly) followed his diet. Then when his follow up call came, he had his mind set that I didn't have issues. I asked him all I want to know is why I had those 3 months of problems, He made me repeat what he said 3x-Condensending .I still have issues about 3x a week. I asked about colonoscopy he said no, very dangerous and if he made the wrong move I could bleed to death. Please reconsider your Doctor choices.
