Saw Dr Shah at Bone Density clinic after waiting months for an appointment. Dr Shah didn’t even examine my shoulder (rotator tear) and made diagnosis....physiotherapist spent more time than Dr Shah. Unfortunately I would not recommend this doctor as he is not genuinely concerned about a patients health and well being. I felt he was rude, arrogant and conceded, definitely NOT warm or humble person.

Fantastic result from the MRI on my shoulder which Dr. Shah ordered , after his team examined my strength and movement - which was inconsistent with the results of an ultrasound, which had been ordered by my GP. Turned out my injury is actually minor and does NOT require surgery........ as had been previously thought..... MY THANKS to Dr. Shah and his team - great work. Randy H.

I consulted with this doctor at the Edmonton Bone and Joint clinic this week. He was professional and gave good advice. The staff there was also 100% on their game. I have read all of the comments here and I see that a lot of patients would disagree with me......... but I call 'em like I see 'em. So far, the guy is OK......... If I have a different experience with my next consult I will post again.

I was referred to Dr. Shah by my denturist. He and his staff are kind, compassionate, and thorough. I cannot express how thankful I am for their wonderful care.

Dr. Shah has been my family doctor for about 10 years now and I've always been happy to see him. He's very helpful, friendly and always explains things in great detail. He's very thorough when it comes to reviewing x-rays, bloodwork and other diagnostic things. I'll always get a call from the office staff with follow-up comments from Dr. Shah. I'd recommend him to anyone who might be looking for a family doctor (if he's taking new patients...Not sure about that).

The absolute most rude/arrogant doctor I have ever met!! And he was treating my one year old daughter. It was a walk in appointment in Leduc for a concern I had for her and there was no hello, no goodbye and he disregarded why I was even there. I left very upset because he basically told me she would be denied medical care the next time she comes in because of an opinion he formed around one of my parenting decisions. Plus he put down the Leduc Emergency and called them useless. It’s his opinion that only matters and if he doesn’t agree with the parents opinion or decisions he is very discriminative and will make sure you feel bad as a parent when you leave. I do not know how he still has a doctors license.

Do not recommend. He makes a good first impression, but soon reveals himself to be presumptuous, judgemental and he even seems to be a bit vindictive. Hard to nail down, but he left both my wife and me with a very uneasy feeling. He'd recommended a course of treatment and medication for me that was entirely off the mark; there was nothing medically wrong with me, I was just experiencing some job-related stress and wasn't getting enough sleep. But, because I am a veteran, he immediately concluded it was a case of PTSD! He subsequently made a note to my file that I'd missed an appointment, which is incorrect and is why I suspect he has a vindictive streak. As a calendar-driven professional, I don't miss appointments - ever - and I am unafraid to challenge a doctor, especially one who presumes. There are much better doctors out there!
