Overall, I was not happy with this Dr. Office and have since changed. The office staff was rude. Calls were not returned in a timely manner (the receptionis was the mother of the younger dr. and wife of the elder dr.) and the support staff handling the referrals would not answer her phone or return phone calls. I would spend 6 weeks prior to a specialis's appointment trying to receive a referral only to be still fighting for the referral the morning of the appointment! Dr. Michael Slavik had a good bedside manner with my daughter however would not take my concerns about my daughter seriously. Dr. Celina Miller did take my concerns seriously and properly diagnosed my daughter. If Dr. Miller would change to another office, I would gladly return to her!

Dr. Mike had been my doctor for many many years while I was an adolescent. He is extremely caring and very funny! I highly recommend him to any child, he makes you feel at ease going to the doctor. Not to mention, you get toys everytime you leave!! I wish I wasn't almost 21 so I could still go to him :( Hehe.

Dr. Slavik is a wonderful doctor. I especially like that he is caring and compassionate. His tone even helps during times of crisis to calm the parent and child. I always know that when a problem arises, Dr. Mike will always take care of it in a gentle reassuring manner. As far as the above person stated about the office and the phone calls, I have not had too much of a problem in this area, except they do sometimes come in a few minutes late. Therefore the answering service will pick up when the office should be open. I love Dr. Mike, and wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else. She loves him too!

I feel that Dr. Michael Slavik is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and caring about his patients. He has been my child's doctor since he was born in 2001. I would never want to take him to any other doctor.

The staff at this office is unhelpful and rude. There seems to be only one office line so that when one calls to make an appointment, the line very often is busy. The office manager also closes the telephone lines for long periods of time during the day so that a patient will typically get the answering service when she calls to make an appointment. Between the phone line being busy or being closed and transferred to the answering service (which will not make appointments), it would typically take a full week of attempted phone calls to make an appointment with this office. Patients' time is not valued at this office. You will waste a lot of time if you use this office. If you try to inform the office manager of the problem, you will not receive any redress as the office manager is married to one doctor and is the mother of the other, and takes any complaint about lack of access to the doctors and the difficulty in getting through to make an appointment extremely personally.
