Dr. Vettese is the best ophthalmologist I had. He was gentle and reassuring. Unfortunately, he is retiring at the end of 2022. Job well done Dr V ettese. Enjoy your retirement.

Dr. Vettese has been my ophthalmologist for many years. He is incredibly knowledgeable and I feel he truly cares about his patients. I have always had a good experience with the office staff, though the waits can be long (as with all doctor's offices these days).

I have had very good experiences with Dr. Vettese and his new staff. They are diligent, caring and thorough even though they run a very busy office. I would highly recommend Dr. Vettese, particularly for cataract surgery.

Dr. Vettese is a great Ophthamoloist and surgeon. I’ve been seeing him for just about two years now and he has a genuine invested interest in his patients. Not only has he helped to correct my vision, but has also implemented prevention measures to avoid further eye damage, where other doctors have completely overlooked my issue (in fact he was the first doctor in years to notice something was wrong - and my issue doesn’t occur overnight). Very happy with him, and the current staff, who take privacy very seriously.

Dr Vettese told me that before cataract procedure due to very unusual built of my eyes I would need procedure called iridotomy. After reading some medical opinions on iridotomy, procedure which is apparently not always successful and sometimes even harmful, I asked him (through the lady who does scheduling because it was impossible to get another appointment to see him before the scheduled operation) if iridotomy was really necessary. His answer was that if I didn't like what he had suggested I should go to see someone else. I did, had cataracts removed without iridotomy, no complications whatsoever and my eyesight is really amazing. Thanks God I rejected Vettese's diagnosis and relied on my own understanding of the problem. Be careful when you deal with this person. I believe he is more interested in money that in patients' welfare.
