The staff are not helpful specially the one who explain the paper work & forms for surgery has no patience.

Dr. Vettese is an outstanding physician, caring and skilled; one of the best doctors I've ever been to! He performed cataract surgery on my eyes this year and the result was excellent! From coke bottle type glasses before the operations to 20/20 in one eye and almost 20/15 in the other (toric lenses). Living without glasses for the first time since age 8 is really mind blowing! He is very professional and attentive. A huge comparison to other God complex ophthalmologists I've been to who seem to find patients aggravating. A great thing was that Dr. Vettese was always nearly exactly on time for each appointment at the office as few things are more aggravating that long dr. office waits. No complaints about the office staff...they were polite and clearly explained all the forms and paperwork needed for my cataract surgery. Dr. Vettesse's office is at Eglinton and Erin Mills. He does cataract surgery at the Queensway Health Center; the cataract unit there is efficient and organized .

Dr. Vettese is a friendly and approachable doctor. He is a caring and knowledgable doctor who always has his patient's best interest at heart. His attention and time given to make sure one understands and is comfortable with treatment is what every patient needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vettese’s for 24 years. I trust him implicitly. I see him twice a year. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. My husband and I have both had eye surgery done by him.

This doctor provides the worst service I have ever experienced. It is virtually impossible to get his office on the phone. . While he is a competent ophthalmologist the fact that he is not concerned about providing a reasonable level of patient “customer service “ is unacceptable in a professional. I understand that doctors get paid for seeing patients and there is not much incentive for them to spend money on staff or phone lines but surely there has to be a minimum standard of acceptable service to the public.

i did not receive a letter yet, but was told that lisa had been looking at file. she said i needed surgery and dr. vettese said nothing to us. I now have no side vision and blind in the eye, is there someone that can refer me free of charge to see another doctor without a referral, i had confidence in doctor vettese, but not no more, i am frightened and scared. please comment

He has been taking care of my vision for over 20 years. I trust him completely. He has very good bed side manners. The staff are excellent. I highly recommend this doctor. It is nice to deal with a professional who clearly speaks and comprehends English.
