I had gastric bypass with the Dr. It's been over 7 years. Haven't had any weight gain. Much healthier than I was previously. He is by far the most experienced Dr in the region, if not the country. He is a pioneer in this field to be greatly respected.

Dr Mac saved my life. In Jan 2000 he did bariatric surgery on me. I was diabetic, now I'm not. I was high B.P., now I'm not. I was on the verge of liver failure, now I'm not. He knows his business. I've lost 165 pounds, and I'M ALIVE! He did a surgery called "the duodenal switch. He still requires me to come in "at least" once a year to monitor my health. He pays very close attention to my weight levels, blood levels, weight distribution, activity or inactivity. He has taken his work with me very seriously throughout the whole process. I owe my gratitude to Dr Mac. He's also been very helpful in coaching my husband in what to expect by living with a bariatric patient. Is it an easy path? No. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. I have many physical issues as a result of carrying excess weight for more than 30 years but the pro's definately outweigh the con's. Thanks Dr Mac. Bariatric surgery is not the answer for everyone but for me it was.
