Very dismissive and harsh. Said I had no problem and said so without seeing my injury. No tests and did not even look at it. I then went to the hospital. The doctors at the hospital said otherwise. I required immediate surgery.

He is inept. My opinion could not be lower. I wouldn't let him treat a stick. Stay away if you value your self.

A fantastic human being whom I feel lucky to have known.
He was my current and ex wife's doctor also, and they too were are extremely fond of him.
Thanks for your years of being my doctor, and thank you for finding not one but two doctors to replace you. I'm very lucky.

Horrific secretary. According to College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, patents should be given a minimum of 3 months notice of retirement to find a new doctor. I found out by chance through another patent who was also shocked to learn that they no longer had a family doctor. When I phoned to inquire, reception was far from helpful, unapologetic and unsympathetic about the situation.

I feel this Dr. has a bad attitude towards some patients, myself included. I’ve often researched & figured out my own issues, he’s basically a prescription dr., some of which I’d prefer to do it natural (which he won’t consider). He should’ve retired at least three years ago & he’s 65, now. He’s very dismissive and he think, you as a patient, don’t know a thing about your own body. More interested in protecting himself from malpractice. I once expressed my displeasure of these issues and his response was, “as long as we don’t hate each other, we can still have a Dr.-patient relationship”. I avoid going to see him, because I know what I’m going to get, meanwhile my health issues & depression only becomes worse. Avoid this Dr. I thought I was just one of few people that felt this way.

I've known Dr. Cook for several years and he is the WORST doctor I have ever known. He is RUDE, UNATTENTIVE, and SHAMES you for being ill. My mother had to undergo emergency BACK SURGERY due to his NEGLIGENCE when he ignored her physiotherapist and chiropractor that something was seriously wrong with her back. He has continued in this capacity and still ignores her issues. I AM DISGUSTED BY THIS SO-CALLED CARE GIVER.
And his receptionist (also wife) is incredibly rude and dismissive. TERRIBLE OFFICE!

Terrible receptionist on Jan 21 2019 I called to confirm my appointment that I have scheduled for the 23rd which i called in for more than a month ago and she's telling me that she cancelled it because I did not answer her call and all a long I thought when you are scheduled for the appointment it's confirmed and it's my responsibility to cancel if I can't make it. And if you haven't talk to the patient why would you change it? I have so many thing I wanted to discuss to Dr. Cook who is my Doctor since I was 16 and now I'm 42 and the receptionist. She also hang up on me when I said No I will not take the later appointment and need to see him on the day that I am scheduled for. No one can replace Barb the receptionist but she's retired now and the receptionist at his office are very rude and heartless!

not a good doctor. Spends more time with the medical students than the patients. Lost my file and later it was found in the hands of one of the medical residents who was interning at this clinic. Late most times and did not bother to share with me the fact that I had lesions in my pelvic area that later turned out to be stage 4 cancer. Stay away from this guy .

I have been a patient of Dr Cook's for 8 years and never once had a problem with him. He was my maternity Dr for both of my children. He used to have the most AMAZING receptionist there could ever be, and since she retired it has been a nightmare in the office!! It also doesn't matter what time your appointment is for you are usually getting into the room a 1/2 hour after your appointment time was for, so make sure you don't have anything planned for after. When you do get in IF you get in with Dr Cook, he is great, but more often then not you are taken care of by one of the students in there. as for the receptionist.....what a rude person. There is no point in having a family Dr with her as even in an emergency they will only get you or your children in in a week and a half. In a doctor shortage I guess they can do whatever they want and you have no choice.
