I have never had a psychologist not take notes during a session. She does not provide direct feedback. I did not find her sessions useful.

Dr. Blackshear is an excellent psychologist. She has helped me greatly with each visit. She listens very closely to a person's issues and helps them work through it rationally. She presents as stable, conservative, balanced and thoughtful. She is warm and welcoming and creates a sense of safety for you to speak your mind.

Dr. Blackshear saved my life, don't think she can get a higher rating than that. Have used a couple different insurances with her and she let me do reduced fee when I didn't have insurance.

She is very professional. I was doing well when I was going to see her--once I stopped--I have had trouble since...If I had the resources--I would still see her....I would recomend her for those who are willing to take her advice.

Kristen is by far the best psychologist i have ever been to. In my opinion she is the best at what she does. She has helped me overcome two of the hardest points in my life...recomend to anyone

Kristen is awesome!! I've worked with her on and off for 5 years and she has helped me immensely with some difficult life changes and general self esteem. When I haven't had insurance, she's worked with my financial situation, and she has always been really great about returning my calls when I needed to communicate with her outside our sessions. She is the best psychologist I've ever worked with!!

Dr Blackshear is stiff & I found her difficult to talk to. She presents as old money & it is hard to feel like she can relate to the common person. She is always extremely punctual.
